I Am is the fifth studio album by English singer Leona Lewis. It was released on 11 September 2015, by Island Records after Lewis took leave from Syco Music in June 2014. Recording began in mid 2013, during the production of Lewis's first Christmas album and fourth studio album, Christmas, with Love (2013). Recording sessions resumed in January 2014 with producer Poet, Toby Gad and Wayne Wilkins. I Am is preceded by the release of "Fire Under My Feet" and the album's title track except for in the United States where "Thunder" precedes the album. The album reached top 40 in multiple countries, including US, United Kingdom, Spain and Germany.
The consumption of dog meat is heavily restricted and soon to be illegal in South Korea. On January 9, 2024, the South Korean parliament unanimously passed a law banning the distribution and sale of dog meat, to take effect in three years. The three-year window allows for farmers to find other sources of income. According to a 2020 survey of South Koreans, 83.8% of respondents reported to never having consumed dog meat before.

The Lychee and Dog Meat Festival is an annual festival held in Yulin, Guangxi, China, during the summer solstice in which festival goers eat dog meat and lychees. The festival began in 2009 and spans about ten days during which thousands of dogs are reportedly consumed. The festival has drawn criticism domestically and internationally.
"You Are the Reason" is a song by English singer Calum Scott. It was released on 17 November 2017 via Capitol Records, as his second original single from his debut album Only Human. It was produced by Fraser T. Smith. The song has been streamed over one billion times, and has sold over five million copies worldwide. The music video, which has been viewed over one billion times, was filmed primarily in Kyiv, Ukraine, with areal shots of Budapest locations such as Széchenyi thermal bath. A duet version with Leona Lewis charted internationally, and achieved over 213 million streams on Spotify, with its music video surpassing over one billion views on YouTube.
Vanderpump Dogs is an American reality television series released on Peacock on June 9, 2021. Developed as the second spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it focuses on Lisa Vanderpump and her staff as they run her dog foundation/rescue center of the same name.
