The 2012 Indian Telly Awards, officially the 11th Indian Telly Awards ceremony, presented by the Indiantelevision.com honouring Indian television shows of 2011 took place on 31 May 2012 in Mumbai. [1] [2] The ceremony was televised in India and internationally on Colors TV. Actors Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy hosted the ceremony for the first time. The ceremony was co-hosted by Manish Paul & Roshni Chopra. The Telly Award Blue Carpet was hosted by Mona Singh & Manish Paul

The 59th Academy Awards ceremony, organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), took place on March 30, 1987, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles beginning at 6:00 p.m. PST / 9:00 p.m. EST. During the ceremony, AMPAS presented Academy Awards in 23 categories honoring films released in 1986. The ceremony, televised in the United States by ABC, was produced by Samuel Goldwyn Jr. and directed by Marty Pasetta. Actors Chevy Chase, Paul Hogan, and Goldie Hawn co-hosted the show. Hawn hosted the gala for the second time, having previously been a co-host of the 48th ceremony held in 1976. Meanwhile, this was Chase and Hogan's first Oscars hosting stint. Eight days earlier, in a ceremony held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, on March 22, the Academy Awards for Technical Achievement were presented by host Catherine Hicks.
Mona Singh is an Indian actress, dancer, model, comedian and television presenter. Having first gained prominence in 2000s for playing the eponymous heroine in the soap opera series Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin (2003–06), she has since appeared in several other television and film roles. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is an Indian Hindi-language reality television show and the Indian version of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars. The show pairs celebrities with professional dancers. Each couple performs predetermined dances and competes against the others for judges' points and audience votes. The couple receiving the lowest combined total of judges' points and audience votes is eliminated each week until only the champion dance pair remains.
