1911 in Argentine football saw Alumni regain the championship for the third time in succession, by beating Porteño in a championship playoff. It was the team's 10th title in 12 seasons and was also its last tournament disputed so the football team was disbanded at the end of the season due to financial problems.

1915 in Argentine football saw the reunification of the Asociación Argentina de Football and the Federación Argentina de Football. Racing won its third consecutive league championship.

1927 in Argentine football saw both leagues reunified under the name "Asociación Amateurs Argentina de Football". The championship was won by San Lorenzo obtaining its 3rd. title.

Alumni Athletic Club, or simply Alumni, was an Argentine football team active during the first years of the sport in that country. Although officially founded in 1898, the team had been formed in 1893 when a group of students from the Buenos Aires English High School joined Alexander Watson Hutton to form a team in order to participate in the championship organized by the Argentine Association Football League.

The URBA Top 12 is an Argentine rugby union club competition organised by the Buenos Aires Rugby Union (URBA). It is the top division of the Argentine rugby league system. Created on 10 April 1899 by the "River Plate Rugby Union", the Top 13 is the oldest rugby competition in South America and one of the oldest club competitions in the world.

Maximiliano Susan was an Argentine footballer who played as centre forward. Consolidated as one of the biggest scorers of Argentina during the first decades of the XX century, Susán played his entire senior career for Estudiantes de Buenos Aires, where he is regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the club. With that club he won the 1910 Copa de Competencia Jockey Club, the only title of Estudiantes in top national competitions.
