The XIII Grand Prix d'Albi was a motor race, run to Formula One rules, held on 5 August 1951 at the Circuit Les Planques, Albi. The race was run over 34 laps of the circuit, and was won by French driver Maurice Trintignant in a Simca-Gordini Type 15. [1] [2] Trintignant also set pole and fastest lap. Louis Rosier and Louis Chiron were second and third in their Talbot-Lago T26Cs.

Maurice Bienvenu Jean Paul Trintignant was a motor racing driver and vintner from France. He competed in the Formula One World Championship for fourteen years, between 1950 and 1964, one of the longest careers in the early years of Formula One. During this time he also competed in sports car racing, including winning the 1954 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Following his retirement from the track Trintignant concentrated on the wine trade.

The race was contested over 42 laps of the Bremgarten Circuit with it also being the opening race of the 1951 World Championship of Drivers. The race was the eleventh time that the Swiss Grand Prix was held with all of the races being held at Bremgarten.
The 1957 British Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 20 July 1957 at the Aintree Circuit, near Liverpool. It was the tenth British Grand Prix and it was race 5 of 8 in the 1957 World Championship of Drivers. The race was won by Stirling Moss and Tony Brooks, who shared driving duties in a Vanwall. It was the third and final time that a Grand Prix had been won by two drivers in a shared car. This was the first occasion that a British constructor won a World Drivers' Championship race, a feat achieved with two British drivers at their home Grand Prix.

The Circuit de Charade, also known as Circuit Louis Rosier and Circuit Clermont-Ferrand, is a motorsport race track in Saint-Genès-Champanelle near Clermont-Ferrand in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne in central France. The circuit, built around the base of an extinct volcano, was known for its challenging layout which favored the most skillful drivers and motorcyclists. It hosted the French Grand Prix four times and the French motorcycle Grand Prix ten times.

The Circuit d'Albi is a 3.565 km (2.215 mi) motorsport race track located in the French town of Le Sequestre near Albi, about 80 km (50 mi) northeast of Toulouse. Built to replace the nearby Circuit Les Planques public road circuit, Albi has 70 years of history in motor-racing, including the 1951 French motorcycle Grand Prix. It hosted the FFSA GT Championship in 1997, 2002–2011, and 2020–2022.

The 1954 Bordeaux Grand Prix was a non-championship Formula One motor race held on 9 May 1954 on a street circuit centred around the Place des Quinconces in Bordeaux, Gironde, France. The Grand Prix was won by José Froilán González, driving with Ferrari. Gonzalez also set fastest lap. Ferrari drivers Robert Manzon and Maurice Trintignant finished second and third, with Trintignant starting from pole.

The 3rd Grand Prix de Caen was a motor race, run to Formula One rules, held on 25 July 1954 at the Circuit de la Prairie, Caen. The race was run over 60 laps of the circuit, and was won by French driver Maurice Trintignant in a Ferrari 625, who started from pole position. British driver Stirling Moss in a Maserati 250F finished a close second and set fastest lap. Gordini driver Jacques Pollet shared third place with Jean Behra after Behra crashed his own car earlier in the race.

The race was won by Louis Rosier in a Ferrari 375 Chico Landi was second in another 375 and Yves Giraud-Cabantous third in a Talbot-Lago T26C. BRM drivers Juan Manuel Fangio and José Froilán González took pole and fastest lap respectively, but both retired with mechanical problems.

The XV Grand Prix de l'Albigeois was a combined Formula One and Formula Two motor race held on 31 May 1953 at Circuit Les Planques, Albi, France. The race was held over two heats of 10 laps; one for Formula One and one for Formula Two, and a final of 18 laps in which both classes took part. The top four finishers in each heat qualified for the final, plus another four based on finishing position.
The 5th Circuit de Cadours was a Formula Two motor race held on 30 August 1953 at the Circuit de Cadours, in Cadours, Tarn-et-Garonne, France. The race, consisting of 2x10 lap heats, a 10 lap repechage and a 30 lap final, was won by Maurice Trintignant in a Gordini Type 16. Trintignant's teammates Harry Schell and Jean Behra finished second and third, with Schell setting fastest lap.
The 9th Grand Prix de l'Albigeois was a Formula One motor race held on 13 July 1947 at Les Planques circuit in Albi in the Tarn department of France. The winner of the 40 lap race was Louis Rosier in a Talbot-Lago T150SS. Second was Raymond Sommer in a Simca Gordini Type 11 and Charles Pozzi was third in a Delahaye 135. Maserati drivers Henri Louveau and Luigi Villoresi set pole and fastest lap respectively, but both retired.
Circuit Les Planques was a 9.226 km (5.733 mi) long motor racing road circuit in a triangular shape, located near Albi. The circuit was later shortened to 8.911 km (5.537 mi) in 1934, and again to 2.991 km (1.859 mi) in 1954.
