The 1970 Singapore Open , also known as the 1970 Singapore Open Badminton Championships, took place from 15 to 18 October 1970 at the Singapore Badminton Hall in Singapore. [1]

The ties were played over a few months with the first round ties being played on the 20 of October and the last been played on 14 December. There was no women's doubles competition due to the lack of entries.

The 1938 Singapore Open, also known as the 1938 Singapore Badminton Championships, took place from 13 August – 3 December 1938 at the Clerical Union Hall in Balestier, Singapore. The ties were played over a few months with the first round ties being played on the 13th of August and the last was played on the 3rd of December. There were no women's doubles and mixed doubles competition due to the lack of entries.

The 1937 Singapore Open, also known as the 1937 Singapore Badminton Championships, took place from 11 September – 24 October 1937 at the Clerical Union Hall in Balestier, Singapore. The ties were played over a few months with the first round ties being played on the 11th of September and the last two ties of the tournament were played on the 24th of October. There were no women's doubles and mixed doubles competition due to the lack of entries.

The 1929 Singapore Open, also known as the 1929 Singapore Open Singles Badminton Championship, took place from 19 October – 16 November 1929 at the Old Chinese Chin Woo Athletic Association Hall in City Hall with the final been played at the Singapore Chinese Girls' School Hall in Somerset, Singapore. The ties were played over a month with the first round ties being played on the 19th of October and the final was played on the 16th of November. The championship started as a men's singles competition before the rest of the disciplines were added in the subsequent editions.
