This is a round-up of the 1975 Sligo Senior Football Championship . Eastern Harps claimed their first title in only their third year in existence, after defeating Craobh Rua in the final. This was the last hurrah for Craobh Rua - they would later join forces with Muire Naofa to form the St. Mary's club for the following year.

The Sligo Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Sligo GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Sligo. The winner qualifies to represent the county in the Connacht Junior Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship. Previously, the winners used to compete in the Connacht Senior Club Hurling Championship but were very unsuccessful at that level.

Tony Hayden was a Gaelic footballer from County Leitrim, Ireland. Hayden represented his county and his province, Connacht, with distinction during his playing days, playing in two Railway Cup finals in 1954 and 1955.
