This is a round-up of the 1993 Sligo Senior Football Championship . Eastern Harps won their first Championship since 1975, after defeating Tubbercurry by a point in the final. This was the beginning of a new era of domination by two clubs, as Harps and Tourlestrane would claim the majority of honours for the rest of the decade, just as Tubbercurry and St. Mary's had done in the 1980s.

Tubbercurry or Tobercurry is the second-largest town in terms of both population and land area in County Sligo, Ireland. It lies at the foot of the Ox Mountains, on the N17 national primary road, and is 30 kilometres (19 mi) south-west of Sligo town. The town is twinned with Viarmes in France. Tubbercurry achieved status as a Fairtrade town in September 2008.

The Sligo County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) or Sligo GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Sligo. The county board is also responsible for the Sligo county teams.

The Sligo Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top Sligo clubs. The winners of the Sligo Senior Championship qualify to represent the county in the Connacht Senior Club Football Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. Tubbercurry remain the most successful club, having won the Championship on 20 occasions, the last in 2014. Coolera/Strandhill are the current champions, having defeated Naomh Molaise Gaels in the 2023 final.

This is a round-up of the 2006 Sligo Senior Football Championship. The reigning champions, Coolera/Strandhill, who were surprisingly eliminated at the group stage, after losing a playoff tie to neighbours St. John's. Geevagh won the 2006 Sligo Intermediate Football Championship with a victory over St Patrick's and therefore will take part in the 2007 Championship. Curry won the 2006 title, claiming their 6th title in all, by beating Bunninadden in the final.

This is a round-up of the 2005 Sligo Senior Football Championship. The year saw Coolera, who had suffered two final defeats earlier in the decade, end their long wait for Championship glory, stretching back to 1907. They defeated Curry in the final, who had disposed of the holders Tourlestrane after a semi-final replay. No team was relegated in 2005, in order to bring the number of competing teams up to 16 in 2006.

This is a round-up of the 1971 Sligo Senior Football Championship. St. Patrick's, Dromard claimed their third title, and completed back-to-back wins in the process. Tubbercurry returned to the final after a 14-year absence, but it was in vain, as St. Patrick's cantered to an easy victory, with Micheal Kearins, who became Sligo's first All-Star recipient later that year, leading the winners' onslaught.

This is a round-up of the 1979 Sligo Senior Football Championship. The Championship had been reduced to eight teams for this year, following the introduction of the Intermediate grade. St. Mary's regained the title after a comfortable defeat of Tubbercurry in the final, and their dominance of Sligo club football was firmly set in motion.

This is a round-up of the 1983 Sligo Senior Football Championship. St. Mary's were champions again, regaining the title they had lost to Tourlestrane the previous year. Any hopes of the Sligo town club being kept off the top spot were dashed after they gained an emphatic revenge on holders Tourlestrane in the opening round, and enjoyed a comfortable win over Tubbercurry in the final. This was the first of five successive final meetings between the two clubs.

This is a round-up of the 1984 Sligo Senior Football Championship. In Centenary Year, it was St. Mary's who retained the title, defeating Tubbercurry in a disappointing final. The champions had been brought to a replay by Curry in the semi-final, however St. Mary's won that replay with ease.

St. Mary's completed their second hat-trick of titles in a seven-year period in this year, and once again Tubbercurry were the beaten finalists. This year's final was unique, as it required three games to decide the issue, and the latter game proved to be a bad-tempered affair, with four Tubbercurry players sent off in the closing minutes. The 2000 champions Bunninadden were not so fortunate however, and were relegated to Intermediate level, just two years after last contesting the final.

Tubbercurry is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the town of Tubbercurry, County Sligo; the club was formed in 1888. They have won 20 Sligo Senior Football Championships and 14 Sligo Senior Hurling Championships. They have also won 9 Sligo Senior Football League titles. At underage they have won 10 Sligo Minor Football Championships and 7 Sligo Under 20 Football Championships. One of the greatest hurlers in Sligo history, Paul Seevers played with the club for a number of years winning many medals with both the Gaelic football and Hurling teams. The club combines with Cloonacool at underage level.

Coolaney/Mullinabreena is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parishes of Killoran/Coolaney and Achonry/Mullinabreena in County Sligo, Republic of Ireland.

The 2019 Sligo Senior Football Championship is the 114th edition of the Sligo GAA's premier club Gaelic football tournament for senior graded teams in County Sligo, Ireland. The tournament consists of 10 teams, with the winner going on to represent Sligo in the Connacht Senior Club Football Championship. The championship starts with a group stage and then progresses to a knock out stage.
