The 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships was the World Championships for track cycling in 2012. They took place in Melbourne, Australia from 4 to 8 April 2012. The championships took place in the Hisense Arena which previously hosted the world championships in 2004 and from 2008 to 2010 a round of the World Cup as well as the track cycling at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Julie Leth Danish cyclist

Julie Leth is a Danish racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Ceratizit–WNT Pro Cycling. She competed in the 2013 UCI women's road race in Florence. Leth joined the Wiggle High5 team in 2017. In December 2018, Bigla Pro Cycling announced that Leth would join them for the following season, after Wiggle High5 folded.

Tamara Dronova Russian cyclist

Tamara Dronova is a Russian track and road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Cogeas–Mettler–Look in road racing, and UCI Track Team Marathon–Tula in track cycling. After winning several medals as a junior and under-23 at the European Track Championships she won as an elite rider the bronze medal in the team pursuit at the 2014 UEC European Track Championships. Besides track cycling she also rides on the road and competed in 2013 at the Russian National Road Race Championships and Russian National Time Trial Championships.

Meng Zhaojuan is a road and track cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI Women's Continental Team China Liv Pro Cycling. Representing Hong Kong, Meng competed at the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. Meng was born in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, China, and moved to Hong Kong in 2006.

Olivija Baleišytė Lithuanian cyclist

Olivija Baleišytė is a Lithuanian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Aromitalia–Basso Bikes–Vaiano. Representing Lithuania at international competitions, Baleišytė competed at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the elimination race and individual pursuit events. In 2020 Baleišytė was awarded the Lithuanian Cycling Federation title for Lithuanian female cyclist of the year.
