The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders football is the intercollegiate football program representing Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The Blue Raiders compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and are a member of Conference USA. They are coached by Derek Mason, who was hired as the 15th head coach in program history on December 6, 2023.

The 1935 Middle Tennessee State Teachers Blue Raiders football team was an American football team that represented Middle Tennessee State Teachers College as a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association during the 1935 college football season. In their second season under head coach Johnny Floyd, Middle Tennessee compiled a 8–0 record and finished as SIAA champion. The team's captain was Homer Pittard.

The 1980 Chattanooga Moccasins football team represented the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as a member of the Southern Conference (SoCon) in the 1980 NCAA Division I-A football season. The Moccasins were led by first-year head coach Bill Oliver and played their home games at Chamberlain Field. They finished the season 8–3 overall and 5–2 in SoCon play to place second.
