The 1995 Badminton Asian Cup was the third edition of Badminton Asian Cup. [2] It was held in Xinxing Gymnasium, Qingdao, China from 14 to 18 June with total prize money of US$130,000. Chinese team won titles in all the doubles events while Indonesia and South Korea won the men's singles and women's singly title respectively. [3]

At the 2020 Olympics, he won bronze in the men's singles event, becoming the first Youth Olympic badminton medalist to win a medal at the Olympics. He won the men's doubles silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games, the bronze medals at the 2019 World Championships and at the 2017 SEA Games. Ardianto was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.

Fajar Alfian is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with the SGS PLN Bandung. He won the men's doubles silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games, the bronze medals at the 2019 World Championships and at the 2017 SEA Games. Alfian was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.

Pitha Haningtyas Mentari is an Indonesian badminton player from Jaya Raya Jakarta badminton club. She won the gold medal at the 2017 World Junior Championships, and bronze medals at the 2019 and 2021 SEA Games in the mixed doubles with Rinov Rivaldy. Mentari was also a member of the Indonesian women's team that won the silver medal in 2019 and 2021 SEA Games.

Leo Rolly Carnando is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with PB Djarum club. He was a World Junior Champions in the mixed doubles in 2018 and in the boys' doubles in 2019, also won double gold at the 2019 Asian Junior Championships in the boys' and mixed doubles events. Carnando was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.

Daniel Marthin is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club since 2015. He was a champion at the 2019 Asian and World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event. Marthin was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.

Putri Kusuma Wardani is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Exist Jakarta club.

Huang Zhanzhong is a Chinese badminton player. He won the men's doubles title at the 1995 Asian Cup, and was part of Chinese team that won the 1990 Asian Games and 1995 Sudirman Cup. Huang competed in the men's doubles tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

The 1991 Badminton Asian Cup was the first edition of Badminton Asian Cup. It was held in Istora Senayan indoor stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia from 18 to 22 December with total prize money of US$100,000. The main sponsor of this tournament was Cathay Pacific. Malaysian team won titles in Men's singles and doubles event, while South Korea won Women's doubles and Mixed doubles disciplines. Chinese Tang won the Women's singles title.

The 1994 Badminton Asian Cup was the second edition of Badminton Asian Cup. It was held in Beijing Gymnasium, Beijing, China from 14 to 18 June with total prize money of US$120,000. Chinese team won titles in both the singles events and mixed doubles while Indonesia and South Korea won the men's doubles and women's doubles title respectively.

Lanny Tria Mayasari is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Jaya Raya Satria Yogyakarta club. She was part of the Indonesian women's winning team at the 2022 Asia Team Championships.
