The 1996 Big West Conference baseball tournament determined the conference champion for the Big West Conference at the end of the 1996 season. The teams met from May 10 through 12 at Cal State Fullerton's on campus stadium, Titan Field. [2]

Seeding and format

The top four teams at the end of the conference's round robin regular season were seeded one through four based on conference winning percentage, with head to head matchups used as a tiebreaker. UNLV claimed the season series over UC Santa Barbara, and therefore was seeded second.

The four teams met in the double-elimination tournament from May 12 through 14 at Long Beach State's on campus facility, Blair Field. Cal State Fullerton won the tournament, earning the league's automatic bid to the 1995 NCAA Division I baseball tournament, en route to winning the College World Series for the third time.

The 1998 Big West Conference baseball tournament determined the conference champion for the Big West Conference at the end of the 1998 season. The six teams met at Cal State Fullerton's on campus venue, Titan Field from May 14 through 17. The defending champions were the Cal State Fullerton Titans, but they failed to qualify for the 2018 tournament. The Long Beach State won the title by beating the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos 1–0 in the final. This was the fourth Big West tournament title for the Long Beach State program and the fourth for head coach Mauricio Ingrassia.

The three-match tournament took place at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, California. The Titans won the tournament in 2019 and are classified as the defending champions because there was no tournament held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cal State Fullerton was unable to defend its crown, falling to Cal Poly in the Semifinals. The UC Irvine Anteaters won the title by defeating Cal Poly 1–0 in the final. This was the second Big West tournament title for the UC Irvine program and the first for head coach Scott Juniper. As tournament champions, UC Irvine earned the Big West's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The 2021–22 Cal State Fullerton Titans men's basketball team represented California State University, Fullerton in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Titans, led by ninth-year head coach Dedrique Taylor, played their home games at Titan Gym as members of the Big West Conference. They finished the season 21–11, 11–4 in Big West play to finish in second place. As the No. 2 seed, they defeated UC Davis, Hawaii, and Long Beach State to be champions of the Big West tournament. They received the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 15 seed in the West Region, where they lost in the first round to Duke.

The 2022 Big West Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Big West Conference held from October 30 to November 6, 2022. The Semifinals and Final of the five-match tournament took place at Mustang Memorial Field in San Luis Obispo, California and the higher seed hosted First Round games. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. This was the first season that the tournament expanded to six teams, as it had only previously invited the top four teams. The defending champions were the UC Irvine Anteaters. The Anteaters successfully defended their title, defeating Long Beach State 3–0 in the Final. This was the third Big West tournament title for the UC Irvine program and the second for head coach Scott Juniper. As tournament champions, UC Irvine earned the Big West's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.
