Urawa Red Diamonds, colloquially Urawa Reds, also known as Mitsubishi Urawa Football Club from April 1992 to January 1996, is a professional football club in the city of Saitama, part of the Greater Tokyo Area in Japan. The club plays in the J1 League, the top tier of football in the country. Its name comes from the former city of Urawa, now part of Saitama.

The 2007 J.League Division 1 season was the 15th season since the establishment of the J.League. The season began on March 3 and ended on December 1.

The 2002 season was the tenth season since the establishment of the J.League. The league began on March 2, 2002 and ended on November 30, 2002. The Suntory Championship was not held, because Júbilo Iwata was winner of both stages. At the end Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Consadole Sapporo were relegated to J2.

The 2001 season was the ninth season since the establishment of the J-League. The league began on March 10 and ended on November 24. At the end of the season the second stage winner Kashima Antlers won the Suntory Championship against Júbilo Iwata who won the first stage.

Urawa Motobuto Ladies FC (浦和本太レディースFC) was a women's football team which played in Division 1 of Japan's Nadeshiko League. It founded the league back in 1994. The club was disbanded in 2008.

The 2015 Nadeshiko League season was won by NTV Beleza, who have won the title 13 times.
