The 19th Sarawak State Legislative Assembly is the present term of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly, the legislative branch of the Government of Sarawak in Sarawak, Malaysia. The 19th Assembly is consisted of 82 members that were elected in the 2021 Sarawak state election. The term will last for five years in maximum from the first sitting.

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu is a right-wing political party in Malaysia. It is currently the largest political party in Sarawak. Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu was formed from the combination of three parties in Sarawak; Parti Negara Sarawak, Barisan Rakyat Jati Sarawak and Parti Pesaka Anak Sarawak. The formation of the party was for the purpose of the improvement of the livelihood and protect the rights of the Bumiputera in many fields such as politics, economy and social. Formerly a part of Semenanjung-based coalition Barisan Nasional (BN), following the defeat of BN in the 2018 general election and in the aftermath of a meeting between all Sarawak-based BN coalition parties on 12 June 2018, PBB left the coalition to form a new Sarawak-based coalition, Sarawak Parties Alliance.
Dato Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who has served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia since 2022, Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation since 2023 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Petra Jaya since March 2004. He is the first DPM from Sarawak, one of the Borneo states in Malaysia and the second DPM not from the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) after Wan Azizah Wan Ismail from the People's Justice Party (PKR).
The Sarawak State Legislative Assembly is the legislative chamber of the unicameral legislature of the Malaysian state of Sarawak; the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak forms the other part of the legislature. The Darjah Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Kenyalang Sarawak is the second highest order group of the orders, decorations, and medals of Sarawak. The order was instituted in 1970, and was redesigned in 1988. Two more ranks were added to the order: the 'Officer' in 1988 and the 'Companion' in 2002.
Annuar bin Rapaee is a Malaysian cardiologist and politician who has served as State Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development in the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) state administration under Premier Abang Abdul Rahman Johari Abang Openg since January 2022, Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Nangka since April 2011 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University of Technology Sarawak since March 2021. He is a member and Vice-President of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), a component party of the ruling GPS coalition. He served as State Deputy Minister of Housing and Public Health, State Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Technological Research and State Deputy Minister in the Chief Minister's Department of Sarawak in the Barisan Nasional (BN) and GPS state administrations under Premiers Adenan Satem and Abang Johari from May 2016 to December 2021.
Yang Berhormat Dato' Murshid Diraja Dr. Juanda Jaya is a Malaysian politician and mufti who has served as State Deputy Minister in the Premier's Department of Sarawak in charge of Integrity and Ombudsman in the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) state administration under Premier Abang Abdul Rahman Johari Abang Openg and Minister John Sikie Tayai since January 2022 and Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Jemoreng since May 2016. He is a member of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), a component party of the ruling GPS coalition. He also served as the Mufti of Perlis from January 2009 to January 2014. On 1 October 2009, he started to take leave and was a visiting scholar to Oxford University from 6 October 2009 to 3 August 2010 for 10 months and he is of Melanau descent. He is to date the only East Malaysian to become a Mufti in Peninsular Malaysia.
The premierof Sarawak is the head of government of the Malaysian state of Sarawak. The premier is appointed by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of Sarawak. The premier is also the leader of the political party or coalition that secures a majority in the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly.
The Ming Court Affair was a political coup in Sarawak, Malaysia that began in 1983, developed into a full-blown political crisis during 1987 state election, and ended after the Sarawak Malaysian People's Association (PERMAS) was dissolved in 1991. This political crisis mainly involved in the dispute between Abdul Rahman Ya'kub and his nephew Abdul Taib Mahmud over the control of the state government and Sarawak's natural resources.
Malcolm Mussen Lamoh is a Malaysian politician who has served as State Deputy Minister of International Trade and Investment of Sarawak under Premier Abang Abdul Rahman Johari Abang Openg and Minister Awang Tengah Ali Hasan since January 2022 and Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Batang Ai since May 2016 and Batang Air from April 2009 to May 2016. He also served as the State Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry, Industrial Terminal and Entrepreneur Development in the GPS state administration under Abang Johari and Awang Tengah from September to December 2021. He is a member of the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), a component party of the ruling Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition. He was elected in 2009 Batang Air by-election after the incumbent died of heart attack and re-elected in 2011, 2016 and 2021.

Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Abang Haji Openg, popularly known as Abang Jo or Abang Johari, is a Malaysian politician who is currently serving as the head of government of Sarawak since 2017. He has been Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Gedong since 2021, having previously being the MLA for Satok from 1981 to 2021. He is the son of the first Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of Sarawak, Abang Openg Abang Sapiee.
The Sarawak Parties Alliance is a Sarawak-based national political alliance in Malaysia. It was established in 2018 by four former Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties operating solely in Sarawak following the federal coalition's defeat in the 2018 Malaysian general election. It is currently the fourth largest political coalition with 23 seats in the Dewan Rakyat, and forms the government in the state of Sarawak.

Datuk Snowdan anak Donald Lawan is a Malaysian politician from the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), a component party of the ruling Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition who has served as the State Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts of Sarawak in charge of Creative Industry and Performing Arts in the GPS state administration under Premier Abang Abdul Rahman Johari Abang Openg and Minister Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah since January 2022 and Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Balai Ringin since May 2006. He served as State Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Sarawak in the GPS and Barisan Nasional (BN) state administrations under Premier Abang Johari and Minister Abdul Karim from May 2017 to January 2022. He has also served as Youth Chief of PRS since October 2016.
Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, is a Malaysian politician based in the state of Sarawak from the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), a major component party of the ruling Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition of the state. He has served as State Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports of Sarawak since May 2017. He served as the State Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports of Sarawak from January 2017 to May 2017 and State Assistant Minister of Housing and Youth Development of Sarawak from September 2011 to January 2017. He has also served as the Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Asajaya since September 2001.
Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh, is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bawang Assan since September 1991. He served as the State Leader of the Opposition of Sarawak from November 2020 to March 2024, State Minister of Finance II of Sarawak from 2004 and State Minister of International Trade and E-Commerce from May 2017 to his resignation in July 2019, State Minister of Local Government and Community Development from September 2011 to May 2016 and State Minister of Environment and Public Health from 2008 to September 2011. He is a member of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP), a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition. He was a member of the Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) and the Sarawak United Peoples' Party (SUPP). He has also served as the Senior Vice President of PDP since April 2024. He also served as the 1st, founding and only President of PSB from 2015 to the dissolution of the party in March 2024.
Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah bin Ali Hasan is a Malaysian politician who has served as Deputy Premier of Sarawak since May 2017 and Member of Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bukit Sari since April 1987. He currently also holds the portfolio of Second Minister for Natural Resources and Urban Development and Minister for International Trade and Investment under the administration of Premier Abang Abdul Rahman Johari Abang Openg. Previously, he had also held other cabinet posts under previous premiers Abdul Taib Mahmud and Adenan Satem. Awang Tengah is a member of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), a component party of the ruling Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition.
The Anwar Ibrahim cabinet is the current federal cabinet of Malaysia, formed on 3 December 2022, nine days after Anwar Ibrahim took office as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. The composition of the cabinet was announced by Anwar a day earlier on 2 December 2022, consisting of most of the political coalitions and parties represented in the 15th Parliament. Although Perikatan Nasional (PN) was also invited to join the government, it decided to decline the invitation and instead formed the opposition. The government is often referred to as "unity government".
The 2023 Jepak by-election was a by-election that was held on 4 November 2023 for the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly seat of Jepak. It was called following the death of its incumbent, Talib Zulpilip from kidney complications on 15 September 2023.
