#1 is the first studio album by Greek singer Demy, released in Greece and Cyprus on 19 December 2012 by Panik Records. [1] [2] The album includes all five singles that were put out prior to its release, including the hit "Mia Zografia", "Mono Brosta" and "Poses Hiliades Kalokairia", as well as the promotional/radio single "Kratise Me" featuring OGE. The album also included three previously unheard songs, "Ta Matia Sou", "Ki An Prospatho" and "Meno", with the latter two ending up being released as singles later on. The album track list finishes with the English version of "Poses Hiliades Kalokaria", titled "Love Light". Nearly six months after its release, on June 15, 2013, the album was certified platinum selling 12,000 copies in Greece.[ citation needed ]

Constantinos Christophorou is a Greek-Cypriot singer. He represented Cyprus in Eurovision Song Contest as a solo singer with "Mono Yia Mas" (1996) and "Ela Ela " (2005) and as part of the boy band formation One with "Gimme" (2002).
Katerina "Katy" Garbi is a Greek singer active in Greece and Cyprus, with some popularity in Turkey. Her career has spanned over 35 years with over 2 million records sold in Greece and abroad. Garbi's discography is marked by several multi-platinum releases, including Arhizo Polemo (1996) and Evaisthisies (1997), two of the best-selling albums of the decade. Garbi represented Greece in the annual Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 with the song "Ellada, Hora Tou Fotos", taking ninth place. She later struck her biggest commercial success with To Kati (2000) in terms of unit sales. Over the years, Garbi has won 11 Pop Corn Music Awards, including three for Album of the Year, and one Arion Music Award. On 14 March 2010, Alpha TV ranked her among the top-certified female artists in Greece's phonographic era.
"Dinata" or "Dynata" is a song from the album Meno Ektos; its music was composed by Ara Dinkjian, its lyrics written by Lina Nikolakopoulou and it was first sung by Eleftheria Arvanitaki while Arto Tuncboyaciyan features in non verbal singing and percussion in some versions and performances of it; it mixes the influence of Balkan, Greek and Armenian music with electronics. This song, among the others on Meno Ektos, improved Arvanitaki's name recognition in Greece; a notable performance of it by her was at the closing ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympics, during the fireworks and after the flame had been extinguished.
Michalis Hatzigiannis is a Greek-Cypriot singer, musician, and record producer. From 2000 to 2010, he received over 30 sales certifications in Greece, making him one of the most successful artists of the decade. He is also known for representing Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998. In 2010, he released his first English-language album. In 2010, Forbes listed him as the 22nd most powerful and influential celebrity in Greece and the fifth highest-ranked singer.

Bobby Ray Simmons Jr., known professionally as B.o.B, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter and record producer. Raised in Decatur, Georgia, Simmons was signed to high-profile producer Jim Jonsin's Rebel Rock Entertainment imprint, in 2006. Two years later, Jonsin and Simmons signed a joint venture deal, with fellow rapper T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records, under the aegis of Atlantic Records. Following his major-label deal, Simmons quickly achieved commercial success, when his debut single "Nothin' on You", reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2009, and earned a Grammy Award for Record of the Year nomination.

"Ola Kala" is the second single released by Greek singer Sakis Rouvas from his eighth studio album of the same name in September 2002. The single was also released initially in France and in many other parts of Europe by 2004. It served as his second internationally released single. While it topped the Greek Airplay charts, it did not chart on the French charts. It was released in both Greek and English versions. The song received generally favourable reviews from Greek music critics.
"Hitz" is a single from English record production duo Chase & Status, featuring vocals from British rapper Tinie Tempah. The single was released in the United Kingdom on 15 July 2011 as the fourth single from their second studio album, No More Idols. It peaked at number 39 on the UK Singles Chart and number 11 on the UK Dance Chart. The song features a spoken word sample from the 1973 film The Harder They Come. On 22 February 2012, it was featured in the BBC drama series Waterloo Road. Tinie re-used the "tick, tick, tick, tick, boom to you fellas" vocal sample on the Demonstration bonus track "5 Minutes", produced by Zane Lowe.
The discography of Antique, a Swedish-Greek laïko and Eurodance musical duo, consists of three studio albums, two hybrid albums, two extended plays (EP), three compilation albums, nine singles, four promotional singles, and 12 music videos and 50 recorded songs. In 1999 Helena Paparizou and Nikos Panagiotidis, two Swedes born to Greek immigrant parents, recorded a demo of the Notis Sfakianakis hit "Opa Opa", leading to the formation of Antique and a contract with the newly formed Swedish indie label Bonnier Music. "Opa Opa" was released as a single in August. Becoming popular with the diaspora initially, it became a top ten hit across Scandinavia, while also charting in Romania, Germany, and Switzerland. It was the first Greek-language song to reach the Swedish top five and was certified platinum and Antique were the first act to be nominated at the Grammis with a Greek-language song. The follow-up single "Dinata Dinata" also reached the top ten and was certified gold. Their debut album, Mera Me Ti Mera, was released later that year, infusing Greek laïko music with Eurodance beats in a blend of both Greek and English lyrics. The album peaked at number 27 on the Swedish Albums Chart and spawned a further single, the title track. They released a self-titled EP of remixes of their first two hits in 2000.
Dimitra Papadea, known professionally as Demy, is a Greek singer. She is signed with the Greek independent label Panik Records. She has released two studio albums, "#1" in 2012, which became platinum and "Rodino Oniro" in 2014, which became gold. In 2017, she released "Demy", a collection of all of her English songs and later she released the album "Kontra" including two new songs and older songs and collaborations that had not been included in an album up to that time. Demy has achieved 8 No.1 songs and 2 No.1 EPs at the Greek charts so far. She also combined music and acting by having taken part in 5 musicals from 2012 to 2017.
The 2013 MAD Video Music Awards were the 10th award ceremony, hosted by Themis Georgantas and Mary Sinatsaki. They took place on 25 June 2013. The awards were broadcast from the Tae Kwon Do Stadium in Athens, honoring the best music videos and artists of the past year. The theme song, "We Are Young", was performed by the Australian-Greek singer Vassy. The nominations were announced on 23 May 2013 by the presenter, Themis Georgantas. Vegas received five nominations, while Elena Paparizou, Sakis Rouvas, Michalis Hatzigiannis, Melisses and Demy received four. The song "All the Time" received three nominations, the most for any song.
Pia Mia Perez is a Guamanian singer, songwriter, and model. She began her career by posting videos of herself singing on the video sharing site YouTube, and went on to star in commercials and music videos. Pia Mia signed a recording contract with Interscope Records in 2013, subsequently releasing her debut extended play, The Gift, and a series of singles, including "Do It Again" and "Touch". In 2016, she was featured on will.i.am's single "Boys & Girls" which reached the top 40 in the UK Singles Chart. In 2017, Pia Mia independently released an EP entitled The Gift 2. Pia would later leave Interscope Records and become an independent artist in late 2017, creating her own label Cherry Pie Records. Pia briefly signed a record deal with Republic Records and Electric Feel Entertainment in 2020, before separating the following year.
