The Big 12 Conference is a college athletic conference headquartered in Irving, Texas. It consists of fourteen full-member universities. It is a member of Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for all sports. Its football teams compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision, the higher of two levels of NCAA Division I football competition. Its 14 members, in the states of Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia, include three private universities and 11 public universities. Additionally, the Big 12 has 13 affiliate members — nine for the sport of men's wrestling, one for women's equestrianism, one for women's gymnastics and two for women's rowing. The Big 12 Conference is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Brett Yormark became the new commissioner on August 1, 2022.
The 2003 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 65 schools playing in single-elimination play to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. It began on March 18, 2003, and ended with the championship game on April 7 in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Superdome. A total of 64 games were played.
The 2007 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship was the 2007 edition of the Big 12 Conference's championship tournament held at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City from March 8 until March 11, 2007. The tournament ended in an 88–84 overtime victory by the #1 seed Kansas Jayhawks over the #3 seed Texas Longhorns, and was the first Big 12 tournament ever to end in an overtime game.
The Big 12 men's basketball tournament is the championship men's basketball tournament in the Big 12 Conference. It is a single-elimination tournament of four rounds, with the top six seeds getting byes in the first round. Seeding is based on regular season records. The winner of the tournament receives the Big 12 Conference automatic bid to the NCAA Championship tournament.

The 2006 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament was held at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, OK from May 24 through 28. Kansas won their first tournament and earned the Big 12 Conference's automatic bid to the 2006 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. This was the first year that the tournament adopted a round-robin format, with the winners of two 4-team pools facing off in a championship game.
The 2008 Phillips 66 Big 12 men's basketball tournament was the 2008 edition of the Big 12 Conference's championship tournament held at the Sprint Center in Kansas City from March 13 until March 16, 2008. It was the 12th Big 12 tournament in the series. Texas and Kansas shared the regular season title, with Texas receiving the top seed in the tournament due to its win over Kansas earlier in the season. The top four seeds, including the two regular season champs, Oklahoma, and Kansas State automatically advanced to the quarterfinal round.
Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball is the NCAA Division I varsity intercollegiate baseball team of Oklahoma State University, based in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States. The team competes in the Big 12 Conference. The Cowboys' current head coach is Josh Holliday.
The 2009 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament was held at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States, from May 20 to May 24, 2009. This was the fourth year the conference used the round robin tournament setup. The winners of each group at the end of the round robin faced each other in a one-game match for the championship. The Texas Longhorns defeated the Missouri Tigers, 12–7 to win the championship.
The 2010 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament is held at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, OK from May 26 to May 30, 2010. This is the fifth year the conference uses the round robin tournament setup. The winners of each group at the end of the round robin face each other in a one-game match for the championship. The Texas A&M Aggies defeated the Baylor Bears 5–3 to win the championship.
The 2011 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament was held at RedHawks Ballpark in Oklahoma City, OK from May 25 to May 29, 2011. After five years using the round robin tournament setup, the 2011 Big XII Tournament switched back to the format used from 1999 to 2005, which consisted of two separate four-team double-elimination tournaments. The winners of each of those tournaments faced each other in a one-game match for the championship. Missouri and Texas A&M faced each other in the championship game on Sunday, May 29, 2011. Texas A&M beat Missouri 10–9 in 10 innings to win the 2011 Big XII Tournament. As the conference tournament champion Texas A&M earned an automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. This was the second consecutive year that Texas A&M won the conference tournament in extra innings on a walk-off home run.
The 2010 Great West Conference baseball tournament took place from May 26 through 29. This was the first Great West Conference baseball tournament. All eight of the league's teams met in the round robin tournament held at University of Texas–Pan American's Edinburg Stadium in Edinburg, Texas. Utah Valley won the championship by a score of 4-3. As the Great West is a new conference, the league does not have an automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
The 2013 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament will be held from May 22 through 26 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The annual tournament determines the conference champion of the Division I Big 12 Conference for college baseball. The winner of the event earns the league's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
The 2019 Big 12 Conference softball tournament was held in ASA Hall of Fame Stadium located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from May 10 through May 11, 2019. All games of the tournament were aired on Fox College Sports, and the championship game was aired on FS2. Due to Weather conditions, the last 4 games of the Big 12 Tournament were canceled. Therefore the Automatic bid was given to the regular season champion which would be Oklahoma.
The 2021 Phillips 66 Big 12 men's basketball tournament was a postseason men's basketball tournament for the Big 12 Conference. It was played from March 10 to 13, in Kansas City, Missouri at the T-Mobile Center. The winner received the conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA tournament. Texas defeated Oklahoma State in the championship to earn their first Big 12 Tournament Championship and third Conference tournament Championship overall. Texas became the first school that was not a member of the Big Eight Conference to win the tournament.
The 2022 Big 12 men's basketball tournament was a postseason men's basketball tournament for teams of the Big 12 Conference. It was played March 9–12, 2022, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the T-Mobile Center. Kansas won the tournament, their 12th Big 12 Tournament championship, to earn the conference's automatic berth in the 2022 NCAA tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Phillips 66.
The 2010 Texas Longhorns baseball team represented the Texas Longhorns baseball program for the University of Texas in the 2010 NCAA Division I baseball season. Augie Garrido coached the team in his 14th season at Texas.
The 2023 Texas Longhorns baseball team represents the University of Texas at Austin during the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Longhorns play their home games at UFCU Disch–Falk Field as a member of the Big 12 Conference. They are led by head coach David Pierce, in his 7th season at Texas.
The 2022 Big 12 Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Big 12 Conference held from October 30 to November 6, 2022. The 7-match tournament was held at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas. The 8-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The TCU Horned Frogs were the defending champions from 2021.
