The following is a list of squads for each nation competing at the 2008 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand. The tournament started on 28 October and the final took place in Auckland on 16 November 2008. [1]

Each nation had to submit a squad of 21 players, three of which had to be goalkeepers, for the tournament.

Shannon Leigh Boxx Spearman is an American retired soccer player and former member of the United States women's national soccer team, playing the defensive midfielder position. She last played club soccer for the Chicago Red Stars in the American National Women's Soccer League.
