The 2008 Blaupunkt SEAT Cupra Championship season was the sixth and final season of the SEAT Cupra Championship. It began on 30 March at Brands Hatch, and ended on 21 September at the same circuit, supporting rounds of the British Touring Car Championship.

Jonathan Adam Scottish racing driver

Jonathan "Jonny" Adam is a British racing driver and a factory driver for Aston Martin Racing. He was the champion of the SEAT Cupra Championship in two of its six seasons – winning in 2007 and in 2008. He also won the 2005 Elf Renault Clio Cup. He competed in the British Touring Car Championship in 2009 and currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship, British GT Championship, winning the 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019 championships. He also won the LMGTE Pro class at the 2017 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The SEAT Cupra Championship was a one-make series that ran for six years between 2003 and 2008, the last five of which ran as a support package to the British Touring Car Championship.

The 2008 Ginetta Junior Championship season in association with Motorsport News was the fourth Ginetta Junior Championship season, the championship designed for racing drivers between the ages of fourteen and seventeen years of age. The season began at Brands Hatch on 29 March 2008 and finished at the same venue on 21 September 2008, after twenty-four rounds. The championship was won by Muzz Racing's 15-year-old driver Dino Zamparelli, who did enough to hold off the challenge from 16-year-old Thomas Carnaby.

Stefan Hodgetts is a British auto racing driver, best known for driving a part season in the British Touring Car Championship. His father Chris was twice champion of the BTCC.

Paula Cook is a British auto racing driver. She is best known as an independent driver in the British Touring Car Championship competing for the family-run DC Cook Motorsports. She ran the family-owned DC Cook Direct dealership after her father's death in 2005 until its closure in 2009.

The 2004 SEAT Cupra Championship season was the second season of the SEAT Cupra Championship in car racing. It began on 24 April at Brands Hatch, and ended on 28 August at Donington Park, after twelve rounds held in England and Scotland. The championship was won by James Pickford, after he had finished fifth in the championship's inaugural season. He held off a late-season charge from Oli Wilkinson to win the championship by just five points, with ex-British Touring Car Championship driver Tom Boardman coming in third. Pickford's prize for winning the championship was to replace Robert Huff in the SEAT Sport UK team in the BTCC for the 2005 season. Pickford finished eighth in the championship, with a best result of second, three times.

It consisted of 20 rounds, beginning on 29 March at Brands Hatch and finishing on 21 September at the same venue. The series supported the British Touring Car Championship throughout the season. Tim Harvey claimed his first title, having finished as runner-up to Richard Westbrook in 2004, Damien Faulkner in 2006 and James Sutton in 2007, Michael Caine finished the season as runner-up. Other front runners throughout the season were Sam Hancock, Tim Bridgman and Phil Quaife. Guest drivers Stefan Hodgetts, son of former British Touring Car champion Chris, and Nick Tandy were also victorious. Former BTCC race winner Paul O'Neill was another notable guest driver.

It began on 10 April at Donington Park, and ended on 2 October at Brands Hatch, after eighteen rounds held in England and Scotland. Cars were now entered by independent teams rather than SEAT themselves, meaning less performance parity but involving more people in the series.

The 2006 Blaupunkt SEAT Cupra Championship season was the fourth season of the SEAT Cupra Championship. It began on 9 April at Brands Hatch, and ended on 15 October at Silverstone, after eighteen rounds held in England and Scotland. The championship was dominated by the previous season's runner-up Mat Jackson, who won eleven of the eighteen rounds. He would use the £100,000 prize for winning the championship to purchase the ex-Andy Priaulx World Touring Car Championship-winning BMW 320si for the 2007 British Touring Car Championship season. Alan Blencowe was second with 225 points, with Jonathan Adam in third with 218 points, Fulvio Mussi in fourth with 169 points and Ben Winrow in fifth with 166 points.

Martin Byford is a British racing driver from Colchester. He competed in the BTCC in 2011 for AmD Milltek. He is currently driving for BPM Motorsport in the 2019 Dunlop Endurance Championship with Ashley Woodman.
