Vietnamese National Football Super Cup, also called the Thaco National Football Super Cup due to sponsorship reasons, is Vietnamese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous V.League 1 season and the holders of the Vietnamese Cup. If the V.League 1 champions also won the Vietnamese Cup, then the league runners-up provide the opposition.

The V.League 1, also called Night Wolf V.League 1 due to sponsorship reasons, is the top professional football league in Vietnam, controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company. It is contested by 14 clubs who play each other on a home and away basis. The team finishing at the top at the end of the season is crowned the champion and enters the AFC Champions League.
The 2010 V-League season was the 54th season of Vietnam's professional football league.

The 2015 National Cup is the 23rd edition of the Vietnamese Cup. It will be sponsored by Kienlongbank, and known as the Kienlongbank National Cup for sponsorship purposes. It began on the 4 April 2015 and will finish on 26 September 2015.
The 2016 V.League 1 season was the 60th season of the V.League 1, the highest division of Football in Vietnam. It began on 20 February 2016 and ended 18 September 2016.

The champion will compete in the 2023–24 AFC Champions League play-off round as well as the 2023 Vietnamese Super Cup.
