Vietnamese National Football Super Cup, also called the Thaco National Football Super Cup due to sponsorship reasons, is Vietnamese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous V.League 1 season and the holders of the Vietnamese Cup. If the V.League 1 champions also won the Vietnamese Cup, then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture was first played in the 1998–99 season.
The 2010 Vietnamese Cup was the 18th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. The contest began on 23 January 2010 and finished on 28 August 2010.
The 2011 Vietnamese Cup was the 19th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It started on 8 January 2011 and finished on 27 August 2011.
The 2012 Vietnamese Cup was the 20th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It started on 18 December 2011 and finished on 29 August 2012.
The 2013 V.League 1 season was the 30th season of Vietnam's national football league and the 13th as a professional league. The season began on 3 March 2013 and finished on 31 August 2013.

The season began on 7 January 2017 and ended on 25 November 2017. The season was twice interrupted due to the Vietnam Football Federation's decision to stop the league for 4 weeks due to the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and then again for 7 weeks for the 29th SEA Games.
The 2017 National Cup was the 25th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It was sponsored by Sứ Thiên Thanh, and known as the Sứ Thiên Thanh National Cup for sponsorship purposes. This year's competition, which features 21 teams including V.League 1's 14 teams and National First Division's 7 teams. The winner are qualified to AFC Cup.

A total of 25 clubs competed in this edition, including all teams from the top two tiers of the Vietnamese football league system. The competition began on 24 November 2023 with the first-round matches, and will be concluded on 7 July 2024 with the final.
