The 2008 Indian Federation Cup was the 30th season of the Indian Federation Cup. It was held between 4 and 21 December 2008. The cup winner were guaranteed a place in the 2009 AFC Cup.

Play was halted for eight minutes during the first semi-final after Dempo's Ranti Martins collided head-on with Churchill Brothers' Ogba Kalu Nnanna in the 73rd minute, after the two rose for a corner kick from the former's teammate Robert Lalthlamuana. [1]

The 1997 Indian Federation Cup, also known as 1997 Kalyani Black Label Federation Cup due to sponsorship reasons, was the 20th season of the Indian Federation Cup. The tournament was held between 14 June and 20 July 1997. It was won by Salgaocar, who beat defending champions East Bengal 2–1 in the final. Salgaocar's captain Bruno Coutinho was named player of the tournament.

It was held between 23 August and 12 September 1998. Salgaocar were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the first round by State Bank of Travancore. Mohun Bagan won the tournament for the tenth time, following a 2–1 over East Bengal in the final played at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata, a replay of the previous edition's semifinal when the latter won. Amit Das and Hemanta Dora of Mohun Bagan were named the Player and Goalkeeper of the Tournament.
