The 2009 Summer Tour was the fifth concert tour by American rock group No Doubt.
On December 3, 2008, the band announced on their official website plans of a tour and a new album. They stated,
"As most of you saw from our little iChat (yes, it was really us), we have decided to go on tour next year while continuing to work on our album. We are working on tour dates now and can't wait to get out there and play for all of you – it's been too long! We'll announce tour dates soon so be sure to check back for updates. Have a safe and happy holiday and we'll see you on the road in 2009!" [1]
The tour was officially announced in January 2009 by MTV News. Stefani cited the reason for tour was to perform their favorite songs and explore new musical directions. [2] A survey on the band's website complied fan's favorite songs that have a possibility of being performed on the tour. During an interview with guitarist Tom Dumont, he explained the tour will have A Clockwork Orange theme, saying,
"Gwen came up with the Clockwork Orange thing—she started getting into the visuals of those modernist movies from the 60's. We've been looking at tons of art and it's like this space-age modernism from that decade—it's retro and modern at the same time, so we're building this crazy stage set that has that vibe. We have a bunch of really great artists doing t-shirts and posters that echo that. There's a whole look for the tour even though there's not an album yet." [3]
It was also revealed that the group will give away their entire music catalog (in digital format) to spectators who purchased high level tickets. [4] The group appeared on The Today Show , American Idol , The Ellen DeGeneres Show , Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Gossip Girl to promote the tour. This tour should not be considered a reunion tour, because No Doubt stated it is not a reunion since the band had never broken up.

Something Corporate is an American rock band from Laguna Niguel, Orange County, California, formed in 1998. Their currently active line-up includes vocalist and pianist Andrew McMahon, guitarists Josh Partington and William Tell, bassist Kevin Page and drummer Brian Ireland.
The Starting Line is an American pop-punk band formed in Churchville, Pennsylvania in 1999. They are currently based in Philadelphia.
Paramore is an American rock band formed in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2004. Since 2017, the band's lineup includes lead vocalist Hayley Williams, lead guitarist Taylor York, and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007. Williams is the only member to appear on all six of Paramore's studio albums.

On with the Show was a world tour by the rock group Fleetwood Mac. The tour began in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 30, 2014, and concluded in Auckland, New Zealand on November 22, 2015. Tickets were available for pre-sale between March 31 to April 6, before going on sale to the general public on April 7, 2014. The Dead & Company Summer Tour 2016 was a concert tour by the rock band Dead & Company during June and July 2016. It was the band's second tour, following their 2015 tour. At the band's final show for the 2015 tour at The Forum in Inglewood, California, John Mayer hinted that the band would continue touring in 2016, stating at the conclusion of the show, "At the risk of rocking any boats—known and unknown—we'll see you next year."
The Not in This Lifetime... Tour was a concert tour by hard rock band Guns N' Roses, spanning from April 1, 2016, to November 2, 2019. It featured classic lineup members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, marking the first time since the Use Your Illusion Tour in 1993 that the three performed together. After the previous tour in 2014, guitarists DJ Ashba & Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, bassist Tommy Stinson and keyboardist Chris Pitman left Guns N' Roses, leaving the band with several open spots. Former members Slash and McKagan rejoined the band and Melissa Reese joined as keyboardist. The group embarked on a world tour that spanned all continents except Antarctica. They performed 175 shows making it their third longest tour ever, just behind the Use Your Illusion Tour and the Chinese Democracy Tour. The group welcomed former drummer Steven Adler to the stage for several shows as a guest spot, the first time he had played with the group since 1990. The tour has been a financial success, grossing over $584.2 million, making it the fourth-highest-grossing concert tour of all time. The tour was 2016's highest-earning per-city global concert tour as well as the fourth-highest-grossing overall that year. In 2017, the tour ranked as the second highest grossing worldwide tour. The tour was honored at the Billboard Live Music Awards in November 2017, winning Top Tour/Top Draw and being nominated for Top Boxscore.
The Memories Do Not Open Tour was a concert tour by The Chainsmokers, in support of the duo's debut studio album, Memories...Do Not Open (2017). The tour began in Miami on April 13, 2017, and ended on October 24, 2017, in Auckland.

Inmortal Tour was a reunion world tour by the bachata group Aventura. The name of the tour references their reunion hit and lead single by the main singer Romeo Santos, "Inmortal". It was their first tour in 10 years since The Last Tour and their first reunion concerts since the 2016 concerts in the United Palace.
