Sean Edward Landeta is an American former professional football player who was a punter in both the United States Football League (USFL) and the National Football League (NFL). Landeta played 22 seasons in the NFL for five different teams between 1985 and 2006. He was named to the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team as the first punter and the 1990s All-Decade Team as the second punter, as chosen by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee members. He is one of 29 individuals to be selected to multiple All-Decade teams in NFL history. He is one of six punters to be selected as an All-Pro three times in NFL history.
John Kaleo is a former American football quarterback in the Arena Football League (AFL) for the Albany Firebirds (1993), Cleveland Thunderbolts (1994), St. Louis Stampede (1995–1996), Anaheim Piranhas (1997), San Jose SaberCats (1997), New England Sea Wolves (1999), Tampa Bay Storm, Austin Wranglers (2004), Los Angeles Avengers (2005), and Columbus Destroyers (2006). He won ArenaBowl XVII with the Storm in 2003. He retired from playing after the 2007 season, and is currently the offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Storm. Prior to this role, he was quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.

Gymnastics competes in the EAGL conference, having rejoined the league in the Spring of 2012.

Rob Ambrose is an American college football coach. From 2009 to 2022, he was head coach of the Towson Tigers football team of Towson University. Ambrose was formerly the offensive coordinator of the UConn Huskies before being announced as Towson's head coach in December 2008. Ambrose played wide receiver for Towson in the early 1990s. Ambrose was selected as the Top FCS Coach for the 2011 season. In 2013, Towson advanced to the FCS National Championship Game for the first time in school history. Ambrose played his high school ball at Maryland's Middletown High School.
Pete Shinnick is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at the Towson University in Towson, Maryland. As the head coach of West Florida, Shinnick won the school's first football national championship in 2019. The football team began play in 2016. 2017 was a big year for Shinnick, as he led the University of West Florida Argonauts to the NCAA Division II playoffs, making them the fastest team to do so. He broke the record he held at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, that being three years. Shinnick also won the 2017 AFCA Region 2 Coach of the Year. He later won the 2017 AFCA Division II Coach of the Year. On December 21, 2019, Shinnick won the NCAA D-II National Championship with the UWF Argos in just the program's 4th year of existence.

They finished the season 9–3, 7–1 in CAA play to win the conference championship. They received the CAA's automatic bid into the FCS playoffs where they lost in the second round to Lehigh.

They finished the season 7–4, 6–2 in CAA. Due to Old Dominion being ineligible for the conference title, the Tigers claimed a four way share of the CAA title. Despite the conference title, the Tigers were not invited to the FCS playoffs.

The Tigers received an at-large bid to the FCS Playoffs, where they defeated Fordham, Eastern Illinois, and Eastern Washington to advance to the FCS National Championship game, where they lost to North Dakota State.
Terrance West is a former American football running back. He played college football at Towson and was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2014 NFL draft. West was also a member of the Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, and New Orleans Saints.

Led by second-year head coach Dave Brock, the Fightin' Blue Hens compiled an overall record of 6–6 with a mark of 4–4 in conference play, placing in a four-way tie for fifth in the CAA. Dan Crowley is a former Canadian Football League (CFL) and Italian Football League import quarterback from the United States. He played college football for the Towson Tigers, setting several school records. After college, Crowley professionally debuted in 1995 for the CFL USA team, the Baltimore Stallions. Crowley also played for the Montreal Alouettes in 1996. The Italian Football League (IFL) for the Bergamo Lions in 1998-1999. The Edmonton Eskimos from 1999 until 2001. Known as a career backup, Crowley received his first major starting opportunity with the expansion Ottawa Renegades in 2002, becoming the team's first starting quarterback.
Jordan Isaac Aldon Dangerfield is a former American football safety. He played college football at Towson and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Buffalo Bills in 2013. Dangerfield has also been a member of the Brooklyn Bolts of the FXFL.

They were led by 13th-year head coach Rob Ambrose, and played their home games at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Maryland. Ambrose was fired at the end of the season, and replaced with interim head coach Lyndon Johnson.
