The 2010 Dutch Figure Skating Championships took place between 19 and 20 December 2009 in Eindhoven. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and synchronized skating across the levels of senior, junior, novice, and the pre-novice level debs.

The Canadian Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of Canada. It is organized by Skate Canada, the nation's figure skating governing body. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels.
The 2009–10 Japan Figure Skating Championships was the 78th edition of the event. It took place between December 25 and 27, 2009 at the Namihaya Dome arena in Kadoma, Osaka. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior level for the title of national champion of Japan. The event was also used to choose the Japanese teams to the 2010 World Championships and the 2010 Four Continents Championships, as well as being among the competition results used to determine the team to the 2010 Winter Olympics. The Japanese team to the 2010 World Junior Championships was chosen at the Japanese Junior Championships.

Although the official International Skating Union terminology for female skaters in the singles category is ladies, Skate Canada uses women officially. The results of this competition were used to pick the Canadian teams to the 2010 Winter Olympics, the 2010 World Championships, the 2010 Four Continents Championships, and the 2010 World Junior Championships, as well as the Canadian national team.

Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's singles and ladies singles. Skaters competed at the Senior, Novice, Pre-Novice, and Juvenile levels. There was also a Junior ladies' competition.

The 2018 Belgian Figure Skating Championships took place between 1 and 2 December 2017 in Liedekerke. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles and ladies' singles across the levels of senior, junior, advanced novice, as well as the age-group levels of minime/miniem A, B, and C. There were no competitors in the senior men's event as Jorik Hendrickx withdrew.
