Following are the results of the 2010 Open GDF Suez doubles. The 2010 Open GDF Suez was a women's professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 18th edition of the Open GDF Suez (formerly known as the Open Gaz de France) and was a Premier tournament on the 2010 WTA Tour. It took place at Stade Pierre de Coubertin in Paris, France from February 8 through February 14, 2010.
Cara Black and Liezel Huber were the defending champions. However, they withdrew before their match against Iveta Benešová and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová in the final for reasons of Black's health.[ citation needed ]

Anna-Lena Grönefeld and Patty Schnyder were the defending champions, but lost in the first round to Iveta Benešová and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová.

Defending champions Serena and Venus Williams defeated Cara Black and Liezel Huber in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2010 Australian Open. It was the Williams sisters' fourth Australian Open doubles title together, and eleventh major title together overall. It was also the third component of an eventual non-calendar-year Grand Slam.

Kops-Jones partnered up with Sarah Borwell, but they lost in the quarterfinals against Cara Black and Yan Zi.
Virginia Ruano Pascual and Meghann Shaughnessy won in the final 6–3, 6–4 against Black and Yan.
Serena Williams and Venus Williams were the defending champions from 2010; however, they were unable to defend their title because of Serena's foot injury, sustained in the middle of the 2010 season.

Vania King and Yaroslava Shvedova defeated Elena Vesnina and Vera Zvonareva in the final, 7–6(8–6), 6–2 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2010 Wimbledon Championships.
Serena Williams and Venus Williams were the defending champions. However, Serena withdrew from the tournament because of a foot injury and Venus chose to participate in the singles event only. Vania King and Yaroslava Shvedova defeated Liezel Huber and Nadia Petrova 2–6, 6–4, 7–6(7–4) in the final. This match was played over two days due to heavy rainfall on September 12.
Alisa Kleybanova and Francesca Schiavone were the defending champions. Both were present, but competed with different partners.
Kleybanova competed with Hsieh Su-wei, but lost in the first round to Benešová and Záhlavová-Strýcová, while Schiavone competed with Tathiana Garbin, however withdrew before their quarterfinal match against Lisa Raymond and Rennae Stubbs.
Iveta Benešová and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová defeated Shahar Pe'er and Peng Shuai 6–4, 4–6, [10–8] in the final.
Cara Black and Liezel Huber were the defending champions after defeating Tathiana Garbin and Nadia Petrova in the 2010 final. However they did not defend the title together, after splitting halfway through the 2010 season.
Black partnered with Anastasia Rodionova as the fourth seed, but they were eliminated in the first round, by Chuang Chia-jung and Hsieh Su-wei.
Huber played with Petrova as the second seed. They lost to Iveta Benešová and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová in the semifinals. This pair reached the final and won this tournament, by defeating 3rd seeds Květa Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik 4–6, 6–4, [10–7].
Iveta Benešová and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová were the defending champions, but they lost in the first round against Maria Elena Camerin and Darya Kustova.
In the final, Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Meghann Shaughnessy defeated Vera Dushevina and Ekaterina Makarova 6–4, 6–2.

It was the 37th edition of the event, known as the BNP Paribas Open, and was classified as a Premier Mandatory event on the 2011 WTA Tour. The tournament took place at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California, United States from March 7 through March 20, 2011.
Serena Williams and Venus Williams were the defending champions, but both withdrew from the tournament with a pulmonary embolism and a hip injury, respectively.
Leander Paes and Cara Black were the defending champions but lost in the quarterfinals to Daniel Nestor and Chan Yung-jan.
Iveta Benešová and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová were the defending champions, but lost to Gisela Dulko and Flavia Pennetta in the first round.

Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond were the defending champions but lost to Nadia Petrova and Katarina Srebotnik in the semifinals 6–4, 6–4.
Klaudia Jans-Ignacik and Kristina Mladenovic won the title by defeating Nadia Petrova and Katarina Srebotnik 7–5, 2–6, [10–7] in the final.
Iveta Benešová and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová were the defending champions, but Benešová decided not to participate.
Záhlavová-Strýcová played alongside Julia Görges, but they lost in the first round to Liezel Huber and Janette Husárová.
Mona Barthel and Sabine Lisicki won the title, defeating Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Sania Mirza in the final, 6–4, 7–5.
