The 2010 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup season was the third & final season of the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup. It consisted of seven race meetings with ten total races. JD Mobley won the championship by 21 points over Juan Pablo Sierra Lendle with two poles and two wins. [1]
The Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup was a single-make racing series sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America. The series was started in 2008 and was a sports car series that ran only in North America, the series quietly folded in 2011.

The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) is an American automobile club and sanctioning body supporting road racing, rallying, and autocross in the United States. Formed in 1944, it runs many programs for both amateur and professional racers.

The 2009 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup was the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup's second season. In 2009 10 races were set to take place on eight circuits. Both Virginia International Raceway and New Jersey Motorsports Park were doubleheader events hosting two rounds each. There are also four new tracks for the 2009 season, Miller Motorsports Park, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Autobahn Country Club, and Road America. Gone for the season are Iowa Speedway and Lime Rock Park.

Wyatt Gooden is an American racing driver who competed in the 2013 U.S. F2000 National Championship with Afterburner Autosport. In 2009 he became the first person in the United States to earn a manufacturer funded ride in a professional auto racing series by winning the iRacing TDI Cup Virtual Series in iRacing.com.
The F1600 Championship Series was created by the SCCA in 2011. The series is organized by Formula Race Promotions, the same organisation which organizes the F2000 Championship Series, and sanctioned by the United States Auto Club. It is a series whose champion is eligible for the Road to Indy Shootout provided the driver is of an eligible age.
Kevin Gleason is an American racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series. He made his debut in 2015.
Colin Thompson (born February 17, 1994 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania is an American racing driver. After a career in single seaters, Thompson won the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge Platinum Class in 2014 and the Pirelli World Challenge GT Cup in 2015. He is the son of 1989 American Racing Series driver John Thompson.
