Asian Judo Championships is the Judo Asian Championship organized by the Judo Union of Asia.
The 2008 Asian Judo Championships were held in Jeju City, South Korea from 26 April to 27 April 2008.
Qualification for Judo at the 2008 Summer Olympics was based on the IJF 2007 World Judo Championships in September 2007. The top 6 men and women from each division qualify, subject to a limit of 1 judoka per National Olympic Committee ("NOC") per division. Further continental quotas also qualify subject to an overall limit of 1 judoka per NOC. The qualification is allocated to the athlete.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was defeated in the first round by future gold medalist of the event, Sarah Menezes. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she was eliminated in the second round by Jeong Bo-kyeong. After this, she announced her retirement from competition.
