Kate Louise Howey is a former elite British judoka. She remains the only British woman to have won two Olympic judo medals and shares with fellow Olympic medalist Karina Bryant the record of being the only British judoka to have competed at four Olympic Games.
Amarilis Savón Carmenate is a Cuban judoka who has competed at four Olympic Games and won three Olympic bronze medals at 1992 in Barcelona, 1996 in Atlanta and 2004 in Athens.

Elisabeth Willeboordse is a female judoka from the Netherlands, who won the title in the women's –63 kg division at the 2005 European Championships. A year later, when Tampere, Finland hosted the event, she was defeated in the semi-finals by eventual gold medallist Sarah Clark from Great Britain, and had to be satisfied with the bronze medal in her weight division. In 2010, she regained her European title, defeating Edwige Gwend in the final.

Esther San Miguel Busto is a Spanish judoka. She has won six national titles and two European titles for the half-heavyweight division (78 kg). She is also a bronze medalist at the 2003 World Judo Championships in Osaka, Japan, and has captured a total of twenty-seven World Cup medals, including eight golds. San Miguel is a member of Centro de Alto Rendimiento Madrid Judo Club, and is coached by Sacramento Moyano.
Rachida Ouerdane is an Algerian judoka, who competed in the middleweight category. She is a three-time champion at the African Judo Championships, and a two-time medalist at the Mediterranean Games. She also won a gold medal in the same division at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers.
Lee Bok-hee is a South Korean judoka, who competed in the women's half-middleweight category. She won fourteen medals in her career, including a silver in the 2001 East Asian Games in Osaka, Japan, achieved fifth-place finishes at the 2003 World Judo Championships, and represented her nation South Korea in the 63-kg class at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
José Vicbart Geraldino Rosello is a judoka from the Dominican Republic, who competed in the men's middleweight category. He picked up a total of thirteen medals in his career, including six from the Pan American Judo Championships, and represented his nation Dominican Republic in the 90-kg class in two editions of the Olympic Games. Coming from a sporting pedigree, Geraldino also shared the same sport with his older brother Jose Augusto, who competed in the 100-kg division at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. They also have a younger brother called Jose Antonio which competed internationally as well in the 90-kg class.

He also became the U23 European Championship in 2016 in Tel Aviv. With the Georgian Juniors, he won the World and European titles. He is a promising rising judoka. He placed 5th at the 2015 World Judo Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan after losing in the bronze medal final against one of his colleagues Varlam Liparteliani. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the men's –100 kg category where he placed 7th. He took bronze at the 2017 European Judo Championships in the men's –90 kg category.
