Futsal Ballgame-team sport, variant of association football

Futsal is a football game played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football.

The FIFA Futsal World Cup is the international championship for futsal, the indoor version of association football organized by FIFA. The world championship tournament is held every four years, on the even year between two football World Cups. The first event was held in 1989. It was held in the Netherlands to commemorate the popularity of the game there. The current champion is Argentina, which won its first title at the 2016 tournament in Colombia. Copa América de Futsal

The Copa América de Futsal is the main national futsal competition of the CONMEBOL nations organized by the FIFA. It was first held in 1995, although it was preceded in 1992 by an edition of the CONMEBOL Futsal Championship. In 1996, the second edition of both tournaments were held as a single event. The Copa América was held every year until 1999. In 2000, it was organized as the third and last edition of the CONMEBOL Futsal Championship. In 2003, the tournament was refounded in its current format. Since then, the tournament has had five editions held.

The Intercontinental Futsal Cup is an international club championship for futsal. This was originally a friendly competition and not a FIFA official trophy. The club champions of Europe and South America play 3 games against each other.

The Grand Prix de Futsal is an international futsal competition of the same kind of the FIFA Futsal World Cup but with invited nations and held annually in Brazil. It was first held in 2005.

Iranian Futsal Super League

The Iranian Futsal Super League, is a professional futsal league competition for clubs located at the highest level of the Iranian futsal league system founded in 2004.

The Brazil national futsal team represents Brazil during international futsal competitions. It is under the direction of the Brazilian Futsal Confederation or Confederação Brasileira de Futebol de Salão. The team is considered to be the strongest in the world earning a record three straight championships in the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Brazil also holds a record twelve championship wins in the South American Futsal Championship also known as the Copa América de Futsal and five wins in the Taça América de Futsal. As of November 2016, Brazil is ranked first in the Futsal World Rankings. Brazil has played in all FIFA Futsal World Cups and has finished in the top three places seven times.

The United States national futsal team represents the United States at international competitions. It is governed by the United States Soccer Federation and affiliated with CONCACAF. The U.S. Futsal Federation was founded in 1981 and the first international futsal match played by the U.S. National Futsal Team was in May 1984 in Nanaimo, Canada where the United States won, 6–5. The first international futsal match in the United States was held in December, 1985, at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California. The U.S. select team, defeated Australia, 9–5.

The Malaysia national futsal team represents Malaysia in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Football Association of Malaysia. Malaysia once played in the FIFA Futsal World Cup in 1996.

Chonburi Bluewave Futsal Club

PTT Bluewave Chonburi Futsal Club is a Thai Futsal club. They currently play in the Futsal Thailand League.

The Extra-Liga is an association of futsal clubs of Ukraine and the top men's futsal league in the country. It is organized by the Association of Mini-Football of Ukraine which is a collective member of the Ukrainian Association of Football. The Ukrainian Association of Mini-Football is not part of the Olympic movement, but is a collective members of the Ukrainian Association of Football.

The Colombia national futsal team represents Colombia in international futsal competitions. It is overseen by the Colombian Football Federation in FIFA competitions and by the Fecolfutsal in AMF competitions.

Indonesia national futsal team

The Indonesian national futsal team represents Indonesia in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Football Association of Indonesia. Indonesia has played fourteen times at the AFF Futsal Championship and nine times at the AFC Futsal Championship. The team never participate in any World Cup but won the AFF Futsal Championship once in 2010.

The Philippines national futsal team represents the Philippines in various international futsal competitions under the Philippine Football Federation and is affiliated with the Asian Football Confederation.

Santos FC Futsal

Santos Futebol Clube, also known as Santos and familiarly as Peixe, was a Brazilian professional futsal club, based in Santos, Brazil. They play in the Liga Futsal, Brazil's national league.

The Women's Futsal World Tournament is an international women's futsal competition for national teams, organized by national associations and the World Futsal Association. The first edition took place in 2010 in Spain and was won by Brazil. The tournament has known no other winner besides Brazil, after the country's victories in the first six editions.

Futsal Association of India National Futsal Association

Futsal Association of India (FAI) is the governing body of Asian Premier Futsal Championship in India.

The Philippines women's national Futsal team represents the Philippines in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Philippine Futsal Committee of the Philippine Football Federation.
