The 2011 Shanghai International Film Festival was the 14th such festival devoted to international cinema held in Shanghai, China. It took place from June 11 to June 19, 2011. [1] The opening and closing ceremonies were held at the Shanghai Grand Theater. [2]

Pavel Semyonovich Lungin is a Russian film director. He is sometimes credited as Pavel Loungine. Lungin was awarded the distinction People's Artist of Russia in 2008.
The Shanghai International Film Festival is the largest film festival in Asia and China's longest-running international cinema event. The first festival was established in October 1993. It is the only Chinese festival accredited by the FIAPF.
The 2nd Shanghai International Film Festival was held between October 28 and November 12, 1995. The festival marked the 90 year anniversary of the first ever Chinese film, 1905's Dingjun Mountain. 232 films from 46 countries participated in the Festival, 19 of which were officially selections for competition. Swiss director Wolfgang Panzer's Broken Silence won the Golden Goblet for best film.

Pedicab is a 2016 Philippine social realist drama film directed by Paolo Villaluna and produced by Ellen Ramos. The tandem of Villaluna-Ramos also co-wrote and co-edited the film. It was selected in the main competition of the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival where it won the Golden Goblet for Best in Feature Film. Its win makes Pedicab only the 4th full-feature film in the history of Philippine cinema to ever win the top prize in an A-list international film festival. It has an ensemble cast led by Philippine icons Bembol Roco and Cherry Pie Picache.
Out of Paradise is a 2018 Swiss-Mongolian drama film directed and written by Batbayar Chogsom. It portrays a traditional Mongolian couple and their struggle to get a professional C-section and secure delivery of their first child. The film can be considered a road movie because the couple travels from their home in the Mongolian Steppe to Mongolia's capital city Ulaanbaatar, where they face challenges. The film won the Golden Goblet Award for Best Feature Film at the 21st Shanghai International Film Festival.
Bridges of Time is a 2018 Lithuanian documentary film directed by Kristine Briede and Audrius Stonys. It was selected as the Lithuanian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated. The screenplay was written by Sudhir Naoroibam, a Sahitya Akademi Award winner, alongside Haobam. It is based on Sudhir Naoroibam's short story with the same title.
