The 2012 BRD Timișoara Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on clay courts. It was the sixth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2012 ATP Challenger Tour. It took place in Timișoara, Romania between 9 and 15 July 2012.

Martin Fischer and Philipp Oswald were the defending champions but decided not to participate.
Andrei Dăescu and Florin Mergea won the title, defeating Andrey Kuznetsov and Jose Rubin Statham 7–6(7–4), 7–6(7–1) in the final.

Marin Draganja and Lovro Zovko won the title, defeating Alexandru-Daniel Carpen and Cristóbal Saavedra-Corvalán 6–4, 4–6, [11–9] in the final.

Victor Anagnastopol and Florin Mergea were the defending champions but Anagnastopol decided not to participate.
