The 2011 Charlotte Eagles season, is the club's 20th season in existence, and their eighth-consecutive year playing in the third division of American soccer. This year marks the club's debut in the newly created USL Pro League, an agglomeration of the defunct USL First and Second Divisions.

The 2013 USL Premier Development League season was the 19th season of the PDL. The regular season began on May 4 with 3 matches and ended on July 21 with 9 matches. The regular season was followed by a postseason tournament of conference winners to determine the league's champion. Four teams were added to the league and 13 teams dropped, bringing the total number of teams in the league to 64 for 2013.

The 2013 Phoenix FC season was the club's only season of existence, playing in the USL Professional Division.

The 2013 Charlotte Eagles Season will be the club's 21st year of professional soccer. It will be the team's third consecutive season in the USL Professional Division and the team will look to build on its 2012 Open Cup run from a year ago where they reached the quarterfinals.

The 2013–14 Major Indoor Soccer League season was the third under the United Soccer Leagues banner, fifth under the MISL name, and the sixth season overall. The season began on November 15 and concluded on March 2. Each team played a 20-game schedule. This was the final season for this third incarnation of the MISL. Six of the seven teams joined the Professional Arena Soccer League, later renamed Major Arena Soccer League.

The club played in the USL Championship, the second division of the United States soccer league system, and were scheduled to participate in the U.S. Open Cup before it was postponed and ultimately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the first season without Darren Powell as head coach. Former assistant coach Alen Marcina was named head coach on December 9, 2019.
