Finals Qualification

Five Masters Tournaments were held in five cities in five countries. 12 teams participated in the finals which was held in Miami, Florida, USA on September 22-23. The best teams from each masters tournament qualified for the finals.

FIBA Basketball World Cup International basketball tournament

The FIBA Basketball World Cup, also known as the FIBA World Cup of Basketball or simply the FIBA World Cup, between 1950 and 2010 known as the FIBA World Championship, is an international basketball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the sport's global governing body. 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup

The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the 18th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men's national basketball teams. The tournament was hosted in China and was rescheduled from 2018 to 2019, becoming the first since 1967 that did not occur in the same year as the FIFA World Cup. The tournament expanded from 24 to 32 teams.

The men's basketball tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the 20th edition of the basketball event for men at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held from 25 July to 7 August 2021. All games were played at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
