The 2012 FIM Women's Motocross World Championship season was the eighth in the history of the championship. Kiara Fontanesi won her first riders' title, despite missing the final round, as Yamaha took their first Constructors' championship.

Tony Cairoli Italian motorcycle racer

Antonio "Tony" Cairoli is an Italian professional motocross racer. He has competed in the Motocross World Championships since 2002. Cairoli is notable for winning nine FIM motocross world championships, second only to ten-time champion Stefan Everts, making him one of the most successful world championship motocross racers in history.

The 2010 FIM Sidecarcross World Championship, the 31st edition of the competition, started on 5 April and finished after fourteen race weekends on 12 September 2010.

The 2018 FIM Women's Motocross World Championship was the 14th Women's Motocross World Championship season. Kiara Fontanesi successfully defended her title, after taking her fifth title in 2017.

The 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 63rd FIM Motocross World Championship season. It included 18 events, started at Neuquén in Argentina on 3 March, and ended in Shanghai, China on 15 September. In the main MXGP class, Jeffrey Herlings was the defending champion after taking his first MXGP class title and his fourth title overall in 2018. In the MX2 class, Jorge Prado was the reigning champion, after taking his first world title in 2018.

The 2019 FIM Women's Motocross World Championship was the 15th Women's Motocross World Championship season. Kiara Fontanesi was the defending champion, after taking her sixth title in 2018.

European Motocross Championship is the European championship of motocross racing, organized by the FIM Europe, from 1988.
