The 2012 LSU Tigers baseball team represents Louisiana State University in the NCAA Division I baseball season of 2012. The Tigers played their home games in the new Alex Box Stadium, which opened in 2009.

Contents

The team was coached by Paul Mainieri who was in his sixth season at LSU. The Tigers' season ended at the hands of Stony Brook after a shocking upset in the Baton Rouge Super Regional.

The Tigers entered the season as defending national champions, having defeated Ohio State, 38–24, in the 2008 BCS National Championship Game.

The 2013 LSU Tigers baseball team represents Louisiana State University in the NCAA Division I baseball season of 2013. The Tigers played their home games in the new Alex Box Stadium, which opened in 2009. On May 17, 2013, the playing field at Alex Box Stadium was designated Skip Bertman Field, in honor of the LSU coach with the most wins in the program's history. At the end of the game against Ole Miss, the program celebrated the best regular season record in its history with 48 wins.

Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field is a baseball stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is the home stadium of the Louisiana State University Tigers baseball team. The stadium section were named for Simeon Alex Box, an LSU letterman (1942), Purple Heart and Distinguished Service Cross recipient, who was killed in North Africa during World War II. On May 17, 2013, prior to a game against Ole Miss, the field was named and dedicated in honor of former LSU head baseball coach and athletic director Skip Bertman.

The Charles McClendon Practice Facility is the practice facility for LSU Tigers football. The facility features the LSU Football Operations Center, the Tigers Indoor Practice Facility and four outdoor 100-yard football practice fields. In 2002, it was named after former LSU head coach and College Football Hall of Fame member, Charles McClendon.

The LSU Football Operations Center, built in 2006, is an all-in-one facility that includes the Tigers locker room, players' lounge, Peterson-Roberts weight room, training room, equipment room, video operations center and coaches offices. The video operations center has editing equipment to review practice and game footage along with producing videos for the team.

The 2018 LSU Tigers baseball team represents Louisiana State University (LSU) during the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Tigers play their home games at Alex Box Stadium as a member of the Southeastern Conference. They are led by head coach Paul Mainieri, in his 12th season at LSU.

The LSU Sports Network is the radio and television network of the Louisiana State University Tigers and Lady Tigers men's and women's sports teams. It consists of eleven television stations, two regional cable networks, and several radio stations throughout the state of Louisiana and surrounding states. Its headquarters are located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and it is owned by LSU Sports Properties.

E. B. Young was the head baseball coach and captain of the LSU Tigers baseball team in 1893.

E. A. Scott was the head baseball coach of the LSU Tigers baseball team in 1897. Scott was the second coach in the history of the LSU Baseball program.

C. V. Cusachs was the head baseball coach of the LSU Tigers baseball team in 1899. During his one season as head coach, he finished the season with a 5–5–1 record and (.500) winning percentage.

L. P. Piper was the head baseball coach of the LSU Tigers baseball team from 1900 to 1901.

J. Phillips was the head baseball coach of the LSU Tigers baseball team in 1907. During his one season as head coach, he finished the season with an 11–7 record and (.611) winning percentage.
