The People's Choice Awards is an American awards show, recognizing people in entertainment, voted online by the general public and fans. The show has been held annually since 1975, with the winners originally determined using Gallup Polls until a switch to online voting in 2005.
RCTI is a West Jakarta-based Indonesian free-to-air television network. It is best known for its soap operas, celebrity bulletins, news, and sports programmes. In every episode, one contestant who receives the lowest SMS vote is eliminated from the competition. After each act, the judges (3–4) give their comments. The host is Nico Siahaan. The Master became Indonesia's most popular TV series, with 11.4 million viewers.
The 14th Annual Panasonic Gobel Awards was a ceremony held to honoring the favorite in Indonesian television programming/individual/production works, as chosen by the verification team of this ceremony awards. It was held on March 25, 2011, at the Djakarta Theater XXI in Jalan M.H. Thamrin, Menteng, Central Jakarta. This year's edition of the ceremony awards was themed "Bersama Untuk Bumi Indonesia". The ceremony was hosted by presenter Indra Bekti and Sari Nila on the red carpet and by Fanny Febriana for the live event and also introduced as Miss Green.

The show broadcasts subject matter related to music, and each show is two hours long. It was initially presented by Olga Syahputra, Raffi Ahmad, and Luna Maya. Presenters have since included a variety of actors, directors, comedians, and musicians.

The event coincides with the Golden Year of PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia, as the organizer of Panasonic Awards.

The 10th Annual Indonesian Movie Actor Awards was an awards ceremony held on May 30, 2016, at the Studio 14 RCTI, West Jakarta. The show was hosted by Daniel Mananta and Nirina Zubir on awarding night, and Tara Budiman and Ayushita on red carpet. Nominations in the category of "Favorite" were chosen by members of the public via SMS, and in the category of "Best" by an appointed jury.
D'Academy or DA is the first and biggest dangdut music talent show in Indonesia. Production is conducted by Indosiar Production Team and Indonesia Entertainmen Produksi. The show is one of the most successful talent competition shows in Indonesia. The show's success has resulted in the creation of two spin-off series, those being D 'Academy Celebrity, which features celebrities, and D' Academy Asia, which features contestants from around Southeast Asia.
