The 2013 CONCACAF Awards were the first year for CONCACAF's awards for the top region football players, coaches and referees of the year. The results were announced on 13 December 2013. [1]

Keilor Antonio "Keylor" Navas Gamboa is a Costa Rican professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Nottingham Forest, on loan from Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, and captains the Costa Rica national team. He was named CONCACAF Men's Goalkeeper of the Year for three consecutive years between 2016 and 2018. He was also named the best male CONCACAF Player of the Decade 2011–2020 by the IFFHS. His performances in the 2017–18 season earned him the 2017–18 UEFA Club Football Award for best UEFA goalkeeper, and also saw him named in the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season of 2018.

The Canadian Championship is an annual soccer tournament contested by Canadian professional teams. The winner is awarded the Voyageurs Cup and a berth in CONCACAF Champions League. It is contested by Major League Soccer sides Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and CF Montréal, eight Canadian Premier League sides, and the champions of League1 Ontario, League1 British Columbia, and the Première ligue de soccer du Québec.
