The 2013 German Masters were held from January 25 to 27 at the Curling Club Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. The event was held in a round-robin format. In the final, David Murdoch of Scotland, skipping for Tom Brewster, defeated Rasmus Stjerne of Denmark with a score of 6–1.

The German Masters is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Curling Club Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany. The tournament is a round-robin format. The tournament was started in 2012 as part of the World Curling Tour.

2012 European Curling Championships

The 2012 European Curling Championships was held from December 7 to 15 at the Löfbergs Lila Arena and the Karlstad Curling Club in Karlstad, Sweden. 2012 The Masters Grand Slam of Curling

The 2012 Masters Grand Slam of Curling was held from November 14 to 18 at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, the Brantford Golf & Curling Club, the Paris Curling Club, and the Brant Curling Club in Brantford and Paris, Ontario as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. The majority of the women's Tier I round robin games and some of the men's Tier I round robin games was held at the Brantford Golf & Curling Club, while the remainder of the Tier I games and the playoffs round games were held at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. The men's Tier II games and playoffs qualifiers was held at the Brant Curling Club, while the women's Tier II games and playoffs qualifiers was held at the Paris Curling Club and the Brantford Golf & Curling Club. It was held as the first Grand Slam event on the men's tour and the fourth on the women's tour.

The 2012 Madison Cash Spiel was held from November 30 to December 2 at the Madison Curling Club in Madison, Wisconsin as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. The event was held in a round robin format. In the men's final, Pete Fenson won his second consecutive title and fourth title overall with a win over former teammate John Shuster. Fenson defeated Shuster in an extra end with a score of 6–5. In the women's final, Erika Brown defeated Jill Mouzar with a score of 8–7 to win her second consecutive and overall title.

In the women's final, Jessie Kaufman of Alberta won her first title by defeating last year's runner-up Allison Pottinger with a score of 5–2.

The 2013 Glynhill Ladies International was held from January 18 to 20 at the Braehead Curling Rink in Glasgow, Scotland as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. The event was held in a round robin format, and the purse for the event was GBP£8,000, of which the winner, Binia Feltscher, received GBP£2,500. Feltscher defeated Heather Nedohin of Canada in the final with a score of 8–1.

The 2013 National was held from January 23 to 27 at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. It was the third men's Grand Slam event of the 2012–13 curling season. The purse for the event was CAD$100,000. In the final, Jeff Stoughton defeated a struggling Mike McEwen with a score of 8–2 in six ends.

The 2013 Players' Championship was a curling tournament held from April 16 to 21 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. It was the fourth men's and fifth women's Grand Slam event of the 2012–13 curling season. The event was held in a round robin format.

The 2013 European Masters were held from April 17 to 20 at the Sports Center Lerchenfeld in St. Gallen, Switzerland as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. It was the final event on the Curling Champions Tour (CCT) of Europe, and featured the top teams from the CCT rankings.

Curling at the 2014 Winter Olympics – Qualification event

The qualification event for the curling tournament at the 2014 Winter Olympics was held from December 10 to 15, 2013 at the BLZ Arena in Füssen, Germany. The top two teams from the qualification event qualified their nations to participate in the Olympics. The qualification event was open to any nations that earned qualification points at the 2012 or 2013 World Curling Championships or participated at the 2011 World Curling Championships.

The 2013 Baden Masters were held from August 30 to September 1 at the Curling Center Baden Regio in Baden, Switzerland. The event was held in a round robin format, and the purse for the event was CHF 32,500, of which the winner, Brad Gushue, received CHF 11,000. Gushue defeated Thomas Ulsrud with a score of 4–3 in the final in an extra end to win his third Baden Masters title.
