Scott Andrews (born 14 June 1989 in Prestwick) [1] is a Scottish curler from Symington.
Andrews had a fairly successful junior career. At the 2008 World Junior Curling Championships, playing second for Glen Muirhead, Scotland finished in 9th place, forcing the team to play in a challenge event to qualify Scotland for the 2009 World Juniors. While the Muirhead rink won the event, they as a team did not qualify out of Scotland to represent the country. Andrews did make it back to the Juniors in 2010, however, playing second for Ally Fraser. They won a silver medal, losing to Switzerland's Peter de Cruz in the final.
After Juniors, Andrews joined up with Brewster's Aberdeen rink. The team won its first Scottish championship in 2011, qualifying them for the 2011 Ford World Men's Curling Championship. The rink lost to Canada in the final and won the silver medal.
Andrews went on to claim his second Scottish title at the Cooperative Funeral Care Scottish Men's Championship in 2012, taking Brewster to the 2012 World Men's Curling Championship where they lost to Canada in the final and claimed their second silver medal.
David Murdoch joined the rink in 2012. The team finished in 7th place at the 2012 European Curling Championships. Murdoch would then take over from Brewster as skip, and skipped the team to Andrews' third win at the Scottish Championships in 2013. The 2013 World Men's Curling Championship took place in Victoria, British Columbia and the rink claimed the bronze medal after beating Denmark. Later that year, the team took bronze at the 2013 European Championships [2]
February 2014 saw Andrews make his Team GB Winter Olympic debut at the 2014 Winter Olympics alongside David Murdoch, Michael Goodfellow, Tom Brewster and Greg Drummond. The team went on to win the Silver medal at the Olympics. [3]
After their Olympic run, Brewster would leave the team. Andrews was invited to be Brewster's alternate at the 2016 World Men's Curling Championship, but Andrews wouldn't play in any games. Team Murdoch won the 2017 Scottish championship and represented the country at the 2017 World Men's Curling Championship, finishing 6th.
Andrews played in his first World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in 2019 with partner Gina Aitken. The pair would finish 9th.

David Matthew Murdoch is a retired Scottish curler from Stirling. As the Scotland skip, he and his former team of Ewan MacDonald, Warwick Smith, Euan Byers and Peter Smith are the 2006 and 2009 World Curling Champions. Representing Great Britain, he has been skip at three Winter Olympics, Torino 2006, finishing fourth, Vancouver 2010, finishing fifth and Sochi 2014, where he won an Olympic silver medal. He served as national and Olympic coach for British Curling since September 2018, before being named Curling Canada's high-performance director in early 2023.
Kelly Schafer is a Scottish-Canadian curler who has represented her Scotland and Great Britain on an International and Olympic level. After playing in the 2010 World Championships in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, she fell in love with and married the mayor of the city and has lived there ever since. She currently plays third on Team Robyn Silvernagle.
Gordon Muirhead is a Scottish curler and world champion. He was alternate for the gold medal-winning Scottish team at the 1999 Ford World Curling Championships in Saint John, New Brunswick, and also won silver medals in 1992, 1993 and 1995. He received a gold medal at the 1994 European Curling Championships, a silver medal in 1998 and a bronze medal in 1992.
Eve Muirhead is a Scottish former curler from Perth and the skip of the British Olympic Curling team. Muirhead and the GB team became Olympic champions at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, having previously won the bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Margaretha Sigfridsson is a Swedish curler who in 2009 was inducted into the Swedish Curling Hall of Fame.
Thomas Brewster Jr. is a Scottish curler from Aberdeen, Scotland. He is currently the coach of the Ross Paterson men's team.
Anna Sloan is a Scottish curler. She was the longtime third for the Eve Muirhead rink. Representing Scotland, they won the 2011 European Championships, the 2013 World Championships, and the 2017 European Championships. Representing Great Britain, they won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2014 Sochi Games and finished fourth at the 2018 Pyeongchang Games.
Victoria Elizabeth "Vicki" Chalmers is a Scottish curler who was the long time second for Eve Muirhead. Representing Scotland, they won the 2013 World Championships and the European Championships in 2011 and 2017. Representing Great Britain, they are the 2014 Olympic bronze medallists and finished fourth at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Claire Hamilton is a Scottish curler. She formerly played lead for the rink skipped by Eve Muirhead. Representing Scotland, they were the 2013 World Champions and representing Team GB, they were the 2014 Olympic bronze medallists.
Greg Drummond is a Scottish curler from Stirling.
Maria Wennerström is a Swedish curler. She currently throws second stones on a team skipped by Margaretha Sigfridsson.
Michael Goodfellow is a retired Scottish curler. He currently is employed as a coach for Scottish Curling.
Lauren Gray is a Scottish curler from Stirling. As alternate for the Eve Muirhead rink, she won a gold medal at the 2013 World Championships for Scotland, and a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics for Great Britain. She became lead for Muirhead's team in 2016, and won a gold medal at the 2017 European Championships. In 2019, she was promoted to third on the team, but returned to playing lead in 2021. After a disappointing result in the 2021 World Championships, Gray was dropped from Eve Muirhead's team and replaced by Hailey Duff.
Kyle Smith is a retired Scottish curler from Guildford, Perthshire. During his career, he skipped the British men's curling team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, placing fifth. He also skipped Scotland at two European Curling Championships, two Winter Universiade and three World Junior Curling Championships, winning the event in 2013.
Cameron "Cammy" Smith is a retired Scottish curler from Perthshire. He was the longtime lead for his brother Kyle. During his career, he competed for Great Britain at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, placing fifth. Ross Paterson is a retired Scottish curler from Glasgow. During his career, he represented Scotland at four World Men's Curling Championships and four European Curling Championships, winning a bronze medal at both the 2018 World Men's Curling Championship and the 2019 European Curling Championships. He also won silver at the 2007 Winter Universiade and bronze at the 2005 World Junior Curling Championships in his junior career. In 2018, he skipped his team to victory at the 2018 National Grand Slam of Curling event. He is a two-time champion at the Scottish Men's Curling Championship, winning the title in both 2016 and 2022.
Mili Smith is a retired Scottish curler from Perth. She was the alternate on the British team that won the gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
