The 2013 season is Ligi Ndogo Sports Club's second year in the FKF Division One and their third consecutive season in the second tier of the Kenyan football league system.
The Planets have gone through the lower tiers of the Kenyan football league system, beginning in the Nationwide League's Second Division in 2006 before gaining promotion to the First Division in 2007. They remained in this division (which has since become FKF Division One) until the end of 2013, where they finished in fourth place in Zone A (Group 1) to secure promotion to the newly formed National Super League for the 2014 season.

Ligi Ndogo Soccer Club is a football club and youth academy based in Nairobi, Kenya. The senior team currently competes in the National Super League, the second tier of the Kenyan football league system. The club's name is Swahili for "little league".
