The Sun Belt Conference (SBC) is a collegiate athletic conference that has been affiliated with the NCAA's Division I since 1976. Originally a non-football conference, the Sun Belt began sponsoring football in 2001. Its football teams participate in the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The 12 member institutions of the Sun Belt are distributed primarily across the southern United States.
The Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in baseball for the Sun Belt Conference. The winner of the tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. After Coastal Carolina University hosts the competition in Conway, South Carolina in 2019, the tournament will move to a neutral site, Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, AL, from 2020 to 2024.
The 2013 Sun Belt Conference football season was the 13th college football season for the Sun Belt Conference. During the 2013 season, Sun Belt football consisted of eight members: Arkansas State, Georgia State, Louisiana–Lafayette, Louisiana–Monroe, South Alabama, Texas State, Troy, and WKU.
The 2014 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Eddie Stanky Field on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama from May 21 to May 25, 2014. The tournament used a double-elimination format. Louisiana–Lafayette won the tournament, earning the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The league was expected to divide into two six team divisions for 2014, but due to the departures of three baseball playing schools the plan was shelved, possibly to be implemented in 2015 with the additions of Appalachian State and Georgia Southern.

During the 2014 season, eleven schools competed in Sun Belt football: Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Idaho, Louisiana–Lafayette, Louisiana–Monroe, New Mexico State, South Alabama, Texas State, and Troy.
The 2014 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Wesley Barrow Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana from May 14 through May 18, 2014. Jackson State won their sixteenth tournament championship, and second in a row, to earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The event was originally scheduled for LaGrave Field in Fort Worth, Texas, but was moved due to concerns about player safety.
The 2015 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament will be held at Riddle–Pace Field on the campus of the Troy University in Troy, Alabama from May 20th to May 24th, 2015. The tournament will again use a double-elimination format. The winner of the tournament will earn the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2016 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Bobcat Ballpark on the campus of the Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas from May 25 to May 29, 2015. The tournament used a double-elimination format. The winner of the tournament earned Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2016 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Wesley Barrow Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana from May 18 through May 22. Alabama State won their first tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The Hornets swept through the tournament after completed an undefeated season in the conference's regular season.
The 1999 Sun Belt Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was held February 27–March 2 at the Cajundome at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana.
The 2017 Atlantic Sun Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Melching Field at Conrad Park on the campus of Stetson University in DeLand, Florida from May 24 through 27. Third seeded Florida Gulf Coast won their first championship and claimed the Atlantic Sun Conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2017 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament was held at J. I. Clements Stadium on the campus of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia from May 24 to May 28, 2017, using a double-elimination format. The winner of the tournament earned the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2017 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers baseball team represented Coastal Carolina University in the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Chanticleers played their home games at Springs Brooks Stadium. This was the first season of competition in the Sun Belt after transitioning from the Big South. While the Chanticleers were successful in their inaugural Sun Belt season, winning a regular season title, they failed to return to the NCAA Tournament after winning the College World Series the previous season.
The 2017 Georgia Southern Eagles baseball team represented the Georgia Southern Eagles in the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Eagles played their home games at J. I. Clements Stadium.
The 2017 Troy Trojans baseball team represented the Troy University in the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Trojans played their home games at Riddle–Pace Field.
The 2018 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament was held at M. L. Tigue Moore Field on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana, from May 22 to May 27, 2018. The tournament used a double-elimination format as in past years. Coastal Carolina, the winner of the tournament, earned the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2019 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament will be held at Springs Brooks Stadium on the campus of the Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina from May 21st to May 26th, 2019. The tournament will again use a double-elimination format. The winner of the tournament will earn the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2019 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament began on May 15 and ended on May 18, 2019 at Jackie Robinson Ballpark on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL. It was a six-team double elimination tournament. The winner, Florida A&M, claimed the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. Bethune-Cookman had claimed sixteen of the prior twenty tournament championships, with North Carolina A&T earning the 2005 and 2018 titles, Florida A&M winning in 2015, and Savannah State in 2013.
The Sun Belt Conference Softball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in softball for the Sun Belt Conference. The winner of the tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The current host of the tournament is Texas State University at Bobcat Softball Stadium.
The 2002 Sun Belt Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was held March 1–5 at the Lakefront Arena at the University of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana.
