The 2018 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament was held at M. L. Tigue Moore Field on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana, from May 22 to May 27, 2018. The tournament used a double-elimination format as in past years. Coastal Carolina, the winner of the tournament, earned the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. [2]
In a change from previous years, the top ten teams (based on conference results) from the conference earned invites to the tournament. The teams were seeded based on conference winning percentage, with the bottom four seeds competing in a play-in round. The remaining eight teams then played a two bracket, double-elimination tournament. The winner of each bracket played each other in the championship final. [3]

The College World Series (CWS) is an annual baseball tournament held in June in Omaha, Nebraska. The CWS is the culmination of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Baseball Championship tournament—featuring 64 teams in the first round—which determines the NCAA Division I college baseball champion. The eight participating teams are split into two, four-team, double-elimination brackets, with the winners of each bracket playing in a best-of-three championship series.
The Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference tournament in baseball for the Southeastern Conference (SEC). It is a double-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The SEC Tournament champion is separate from the conference champion. The conference championship is determined solely by regular season record.

The Conference USA Baseball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in baseball for Conference USA (C-USA). The winner of the tournament receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The tournament format, which has changed several times, currently consists of an eight-team double-elimination tournament format, in which the winners of two four-team brackets play in a single-game final. Rice, which has won the tournament seven times, is the most successful team in the tournament's history.
The Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in baseball for the Sun Belt Conference. The winner of the tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. After Coastal Carolina University hosts the competition in Conway, South Carolina in 2019, the tournament will move to a neutral site, Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, AL, from 2020 to 2024.
The 2013 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament was held at M. L. Tigue Moore Field on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana from May 22nd to May 26th, 2013. The tournament returned to the double-elimination format used prior to the two year experiment with pool play in 2011 and 2012. Florida Atlantic won their first tournament championship and earned the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. Florida Atlantic joined the conference in 2006, and left for Conference USA after the 2013 season.
The 2014 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Eddie Stanky Field on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama from May 21 to May 25, 2014. The tournament used a double-elimination format. Louisiana–Lafayette won the tournament, earning the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The league was expected to divide into two six team divisions for 2014, but due to the departures of three baseball playing schools the plan was shelved, possibly to be implemented in 2015 with the additions of Appalachian State and Georgia Southern.
The 2015 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament will be held at Riddle–Pace Field on the campus of the Troy University in Troy, Alabama from May 20th to May 24th, 2015. The tournament will again use a double-elimination format. The winner of the tournament will earn the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The tournament used a double-elimination format. The winner of the tournament earned Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 1999 Sun Belt Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was held February 27–March 2 at the Cajundome at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Clements Stadium on the campus of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia from May 24 to May 28, 2017, using a double-elimination format. The 2018 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament was at Wesley Barrow Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana from May 16 through May 20. As winner of the tournament, Texas Southern earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
