The 2018 Western Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament will take place beginning on May 23 and ending on May 26 or 27. [2] The top six regular season finishers of the league's ten teams will meet in the double-elimination tournament to be held at Hohokam Stadium, spring training home of the Oakland Athletics in Mesa, Arizona. The winner will earn the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The top six finishers from the regular season will be seeded based on conference winning percentage.

The UTSA Roadrunners is a collegiate athletic program that represents the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). The UTSA Roadrunners are also commonly referred to as "UTSA", "Roadrunners", or simply "Runners" and are represented by the mascot Rowdy. The origin of Rowdy dates back to 1977, when the Roadrunner was chosen as the university's mascot by student election. The Roadrunners compete in the NCAA Division I Conference USA in 17 varsity sports. UTSA is San Antonio's only institution that competes in Division I FBS. UTSA joined the Western Athletic Conference on July 1, 2012. In April 2012, it was announced that UTSA would join Conference USA on July 1, 2013.
The Western Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in baseball for the Western Athletic Conference. The winner of the tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2012 Colonial Athletic Association Baseball Tournament was held at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park in Harrisonburg, VA from May 23 through May 26. The top six finishers from the regular season competed in the double-elimination tournament. Top seeded UNC Wilmington won their third title and earned the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2012 Western Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament began on May 23 and ended on May 26 or 27. The top six regular season finishers of the league's seven teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at HoHoKam Stadium in Mesa, AZ. Fifth seeded Fresno State won their sixth and final tournament championship and claimed the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The Bulldogs joined the Mountain West Conference after the 2012 season.
The 2013 Western Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament was held beginning May 22 and ending on May 26. The top eight regular season finishers of the league's ten teams met in the round-robin tournament held at QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX. UTSA won their first tournament championship and earned the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. UTSA departed for Conference USA after the 2013 season, again leaving the conference with no team that had ever won the tournament for 2014.
The 2014 Western Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 21 to May 25. The top six regular season finishers of the league's ten teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Cubs Park, spring training home of the Chicago Cubs in Mesa, Arizona. Sacramento State won the tournament for the first time, earning the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. No team currently in the league has won a WAC Tournament Championship.
The 2011 Atlantic 10 Conference Baseball Championship was held from May 25–28 at Campbell's Field in Camden, NJ. It featured the top six regular-season finishers of the conference's 13 teams. Top-seeded Charlotte defeated Richmond in the title game to win the tournament for the third time, earning the A-10's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Tournament.
The 2015 Western Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament will take place beginning on May 20 and ending on May 24. The top six regular season finishers of the league's ten teams will meet in the double-elimination tournament to be held at Sloan Park, spring training home of the Chicago Cubs in Mesa, Arizona. The winner will earn the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 20–24. The top six regular season finishers of the league's eleven teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Dutchess Stadium in Wappingers Falls, New York. Second-seeded Canisius won their second tournament championship to earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began in February 2018. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament and 2018 College World Series. The College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, ended on June 28, 2018.

The 2011 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament began on May 18 and ended on May 21, 2011 at Jackie Robinson Ballpark, on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. It was a six-team double elimination tournament. Bethune-Cookman won the tournament, as they have done each year but one since the tournament began in 1999. The Wildcats claimed the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
