In the first edition of the tournament, Simona Halep defeated wild card Andrea Petkovic in the final, 6–3, 6–3, to claim her first WTA singles title.
The 2013 Trabzon Cup was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the first edition of the tournament which was part of the 2013 ITF Women's Circuit, offering a total of $50,000 in prize money. It took place in Trabzon, Turkey, on 2–8 September 2013. This was the first Trazbon Cup of the year, the 2013 Trabzon Cup (2) was held a week later.
Magda Linette and Katarzyna Piter were the defending champions, having won the event in 2012, but Piter chose not to participate in 2013. Linette partnered up with Naomi Broady, but lost to Yuliya Beygelzimer and Çağla Büyükakçay in the semifinals.
Francesca Schiavone was the defending champion, but lost in the first round to Beatriz García Vidagany.

It was the 18th edition of the tournament which was part of the 2014 ITF Women's Circuit, offering a total of $100,000 in prize money. It took place in Poitiers, France, on 20–26 October 2014.
Lucie Hradecká and Michaëlla Krajicek were the defending champions, however Krajicek chose not to participate. Hradecká paired up with Andrea Hlaváčková as the top seeds and went on to win the tournament, defeating Katarzyna Piter and Maryna Zanevska in the final, 6–1, 7–5.
Donna Vekić was the defending champion, but chose not to participate this year.
Tímea Babos and Chan Hao-ching were the defending champions, but Chan chose not to participate this year. Babos chose to play in Monterrey, but lost in the first round.

Sabine Lisicki was the defending champion, but she withdrew before the tournament began due to a knee injury.
Xenia Knoll and Aleksandra Krunić were the defending champions, but Knoll chose to compete in Prague instead. Krunić played alongside Daria Gavrilova, but lost in the semifinals to Tímea Babos and Andrea Hlaváčková.
Elise Mertens and Mandy Minella were the defending champions, but neither player chose to participate.
Irina-Camelia Begu and Raluca Olaru were the defending champions, but chose not to participate together. Olaru played alongside Mihaela Buzărnescu, but lost in the semifinals to Danka Kovinić and Maryna Zanevska. Begu teamed up with Andreea Mitu and successfully defended the title, defeating Kovinić and Zanevska in the final, 6–3, 6–4.
Yuliya Beygelzimer and Tatiana Poutchek were the defending champions, but competed this year with different partners. Poutchek teamed up with Darya Kustova and lost in the first round to Adriana Serra Zanetti and Antonella Serra Zanetti, while Beygelzimer teamed up with Silvija Talaja and lost in semifinals to Marion Bartoli and Mara Santangelo.
Tatiana Perebiynis and Tatiana Poutchek were the defending champions, but Perebiynis did not compete this year. Poutchek teamed up with Yuliya Beygelzimer and successfully defended her title, by defeating Li Ting and Sun Tiantian 6–3, 7–6(7–0) in the final.
Elina Svitolina was the defending champion but chose not to participate.
