Ed Cooley is an American college basketball coach and currently the head coach of the Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball program. Cooley held the same position at Providence College from 2011 to 2023, and Fairfield University from 2006 to 2011. In 2022, he received national honors as the Naismith College Coach of the Year. Additionally, he received the inaugural 2010 Ben Jobe National Coach of the Year Award.
The Creighton Bluejays men's soccer team represents Creighton University in NCAA men's Division I soccer competitions. Led by ninth-year head coach Chris Mack, they played their home games at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. They finished the season 29–6, 15–3 in Big East play to win the Big East championship. They successfully defended their title by defeating Xavier in the final 1–0. This is the sixth title in program history for Georgetown and head coach Dave Nolan. All six of their titles have come in the last seven years and Georgetown has now won three straight titles. As tournament champions, Georgetown earned the Big East's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.
