The Syracuse Orange women represented Syracuse University in CHA women's ice hockey during the 2014-15 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Orange finished conference play in second place, and advanced to the CHA Tournament Final, before losing to RIT 2-1 in double overtime.

The 2007–08 Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey team represented Mercyhurst College in the 2007–08 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The program started in 1999 and Michael Sisti has been the only coach in the history of the program. From 2000 to 2002, the Lakers were part of the Great Lakes Women's Hockey Association. While in the Great Lakes Women's Hockey Association, the Lakers qualified for the GLWHA tournament twice. The Lakers were regular season champions in 2000–01 and 2001–02, and won the playoff championships in 2002. For the 2002–03 season, the Lakers joined the College Hockey America conference.

The head coach of the Warriors is Jim Fetter. Assisting Fetter are Nicolette Franck and Allison Rutledge. The equipment manager is Jim Campbell, and the assistant Athletic Trainer is Amanda Riesterer.

Syracuse Orange women's ice hockey is a college ice hockey program that has represented Syracuse University in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I and College Hockey America (CHA) since the 2008–09 season. Syracuse plays its home games at Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion in Syracuse, New York.

The Boston College Eagles women's ice hockey team represent Boston College in the NCAA and participate in Hockey East. The Eagles are coached by former Olympic gold medallist Katie King-Crowley and play their home games at Conte Forum. They have won the Hockey East championship three times, and made seven trips to the Frozen Four of the NCAA tournament.

The 2003–04 Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey team represented Mercyhurst College in the 2003–04 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season.

The 2010–11 Syracuse Orange season was their third season. The Orange competed in the College Hockey America conference and were unable to win the NCAA Championship. Penn State Nittany Lions women's ice hockey is a college ice hockey program that has represented Penn State University in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I and College Hockey America (CHA) since the 2012–13 season. The program was preceded by a club team that competed at the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division 1 level, primarily as a member of Eastern Collegiate Women's Hockey League (ECWHL). Penn State plays its home games at Pegula Ice Arena in University Park, Pennsylvania.

The RIT Tigers women's ice hockey team is one of two hockey teams representing Rochester Institute of Technology in suburban Rochester, New York. Shiann Darkangelo is an American ice hockey player who currently plays with the Toronto Six of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). She has played at the international level with Team USA and won gold at the 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship with the team. At the NCAA Division I level, she accumulated 42 points with the Syracuse Orange women's ice hockey program during the 2011–12 and 2012–13 seasons and registered 60 points with the Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program during the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons.

The Mercyhurst Lakers represented Mercyhurst University in CHA women's ice hockey during the 2015-16 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. Kristen Richards is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. She is currently a member of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA), following four seasons with the Markham Thunder of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL). Prior to that, she played NCAA Division I hockey for Niagara and Robert Morris.

After a disappointing start of the season against nationally ranked teams, Syracuse had a very successful second half, finishing a competitive third place in the conference, five points from first place Mercyhurst University.

The Syracuse Orange women represented Syracuse University in CHA women's ice hockey during the 2013-14 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. It was the second consecutive season that the Orange won 20 games. Most of their wins came in non-conference contests, thanks to a solid defensive game.

The Syracuse Orange women represented Syracuse University in CHA women's ice hockey during the 2012-13 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. It was the program's most successful season. The goaltending duo of Kallie Billadeau and Jenesica Drinkwater registered 8 shutouts between them.
