On 22 June 2014, CFU published that the best ranked runner-up also qualifies for the Second round. [1] On 26 June 2014, CONCACAF published that the best and second best ranked runner-up qualifier for the Second Round. [2] Since Group 4 contains three teams, only the results against the first and third placed teams are counted.

The final round was hosted in Trinidad and Tobago. [1]
On 22 June 2014, CFU announced that Jamaica would also receive a bye to the Second round, [1] however four days later CONCACAF published that the second-best ranked runner-up would be taking part in the Second round. [2]
The groups and resulting fixtures were changed at a later date. Antigua and Barbuda were removed and Saint Kitts and Nevis added (no explanation given). [3] The top two from each group advanced to the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.

The Central American qualification competition was organised by the Central American Football Union (UNCAF). The competition was contested by the seven UNCAF teams in a round-robin tournament, hosted in El Salvador, [5] where the top four teams qualified for the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. [6] [7]
By winning this tournament, Panama qualified for the 2015 Pan American Games men's football tournament. [8]

The group stage of the 2012–13 CONCACAF Champions League was played from July 31 to October 25, 2012. A total of 24 teams competed in the group stage.

The 2015 CFU Club Championship was the 17th edition of CFU Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The top three teams in the tournament qualified for the 2015–16 CONCACAF Champions League.
2014 Women's Caribbean Cup. Twenty nations entered the First Round in 5 groups, but three withdrew before playing any match. The group winners and 2 best runners-up teams joined Trinidad and Tobago in the Second Round, split into 2 groups of 4. The Second Round group winners and runners-up qualified for the Championship. The Second Round group winners met for the Women's Caribbean Cup; the Second Round runners-up met for third place. Though announced as the inaugural edition, the Women's Caribbean Cup had been held once before in 2000. The tournament also served as a qualifier for the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship

The 2015 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship qualification was a men's under-23 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2015 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship. Players born on or after 1 January 1993 were eligible to compete in the tournament.
The 2015 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship qualification was a women's under-20 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2015 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. Players born on or after 1 January 1996 were eligible to compete in the tournament.
The fifth round of CONCACAF matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification was played from 11 November 2016 to 10 October 2017. Mexico, Costa Rica, and Panama qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, while Honduras advanced to the inter-confederation play-offs. The United States and Trinidad and Tobago were eliminated in this round.
The 2016 CFU Club Championship was the 18th edition of CFU Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The top three teams in the tournament qualified for the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League. Central were the defending champions, having won the 2015 CFU Club Championship, and successfully defended their title, defeating fellow Trinidadian side W Connection in the final for the second straight year.
The 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League group stage was played from August 2 to October 20, 2016. A total of 24 teams competed in the group stage to decide the eight places in the knockout stage of the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League.
