The 2015 Extreme Sailing Series was the ninth edition of the sailing series and the fifth year of it being a fully global event. The series started in Singapore on 5 February 2015 and ended in Sydney, Australia on 13 December 2015 and took place in 8 cities across 3 continents.
For the second time, the first act of the series was held in Singapore between 5–8 February 2015. [1]
The second act of the series was held in Muscat, Oman on the weekend of 11–14 March 2015. [1]
Qingdao, China was the host of the third act of the 2015 series, on the weekend of 30 April–3 May 2015. [1]
The fourth act of 2015 was in Cardiff, Wales for the fourth time, but rather than the August Bank Holiday, it was held on the weekend of 18–21 June 2015. [1] [2]
Hamburg, Germany was a new venue for the series, and was held on 23–26 July 2015. [1]
The sixth act was held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, a new venue in the Extreme Sailing Series. It was held on the weekend of 20–23 August 2015. [1]
The seventh act took place in Istanbul, Turkey on the weekend of 1–4 October 2015. [1]
Act 8 was held on the weekend of 10–13 December 2015 in Sydney, Australia. This was the second year that Sydney hosted the series. [1]

Boat racing is a sport in which boats, or other types of watercraft, race on water. Boat racing powered by oars is recorded as having occurred in ancient Egypt, and it is likely that people have engaged in races involving boats and other water-borne craft for as long as such watercraft have existed.
Manuka Oval is a sporting venue in Canberra, the capital of Australia. It is located in Griffith, in the area of that suburb known as Manuka. Manuka Oval has a seating capacity of 13,550 people and an overall capacity of 16,000 people, although this is lower for some sports depending on the configuration used. The area on which the ground is situated has been used for sport since the early 20th century, but was only enclosed in 1929. It has since undergone several redevelopments, most recently beginning in 2011.
Sydney Entertainment Centre was a multi-purpose arena located in Haymarket, Sydney, Australia. It opened in May 1983, to replace Sydney Stadium, which had been demolished in 1970 to make way for the Eastern Suburbs railway line. The centre was owned by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, which administered the neighbouring Darling Harbour area, and managed under a lease.
The bidding process for the UEFA Euro 2020 is the process by which the location for the 16th European Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2020, was selected. The process officially began on 21 March 2012 with the intent to announce the hosts in late 2013 or early 2014. Despite interest from Turkey, a joint bid from Scotland, the Republic of Ireland and Wales and a proposal from Georgia and Azerbaijan, UEFA announced on 6 December 2012 that it had made the unprecedented decision to host the tournament in multiple cities across Europe.

The 2013 Extreme Sailing Series was the seventh year of the series and the third year of it being a fully global event. The series started in Muscat, Oman on 5 March 2013 and ended in Florianópolis, Brazil on 17 November 2013 and took place in 8 cities and across 3 continents.
Five bids were initially submitted for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Following withdrawals, two bidding cities—Paris and Los Angeles—were left in the process. In July 2017, the IOC agreed to award the 2024 and 2028 Games simultaneously. Los Angeles agreed to bid for the 2028 Games, effectively ceding the 2024 Games to Paris.
The 2015 Stadium Super Trucks Series, officially the Speed Energy Formula Off-Road presented by Traxxas championship, was the third season of the Stadium Super Trucks. Sheldon Creed won the championship.

The 2016 Extreme Sailing Series was the tenth edition of the sailing series and the sixth year of it being a fully global event. 2016 saw the series move away from the Extreme 40 catamaran, and into the GC32 foiling catamaran.
The 2017 Extreme Sailing Series are the eleventh edition of the sailing series and the seventh year of it being a fully global event. In 2017 the series continues in the GC32 foiling catamaran after the series moved away from the Extreme 40 in 2016.

The 2018 Extreme Sailing Series was a series of GC32 catamaran class sailing events staged during 2018. The series began in March in Muscat, Oman, and the final event took place in Los Cabos, Mexico in late November and early December. The 2018 season was also the last season before the collapse of the Extreme Sailing Series.
