The 2015 FIBA Europe SuperCup Women was the 5th edition of the FIBA Europe SuperCup Women . It was held on 6 and 7 October 2015. After being discontinued in the year 2014, it resumed with a Final Four format with the two finalists of the Euroleague Women and the EuroCup Women. All games were played in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium. [1]

The SuperCup Women is a super cup competition organized by FIBA Europe and contested between the winners of EuroLeague Women and EuroCup Women.

EuroCup Women

The EuroCup Women is the second-caliber professional basketball league with teams from European clubs from national leagues joined in FIBA Europe. It succeeds the Ronchetti Cup.

Braine-lAlleud Municipality in French Community, Belgium

Braine-l'Alleud is a Walloon municipality in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant, about 20 kilometres south of Brussels. The Braine-l'Alleud municipality includes the former municipalities of Braine-l'Alleud proper, Ophain-Bois-Seigneur-Isaac, and Lillois-Witterzée. It also includes the hamlet of Sart-Moulin, the inverted name of which inspired Hergé’s Moulinsart castle. The famous Lion of Waterloo where the eponymous battle took place is in the territory of Braine-l'Alleud. Bordering Flanders, the town is home to a minority of Dutch speakers.

FIBA Basketball World Cup international basketball tournament

The FIBA Basketball World Cup, also known as the FIBA World Cup of Basketball or simply the FIBA World Cup, between 1950 and 2010 known as the FIBA World Championship, is an international basketball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the sport's global governing body. The EuroLeague Women is the highest professional basketball league in Europe for women's clubs.

The FIBA Americas League, officially abbreviated as the LDA, is the only intercontinental basketball club competition played annually by clubs of the entire Americas. It is organized by FIBA Americas. The first edition started on 4 December 2007. The FIBA Americas League is a recreation of the now defunct Pan American Club Championship, that existed from 1993 to 2000.

FIBA Europe Cup

The FIBA Europe Cup, officially abbreviated as FEC is an annual professional club basketball competition organised by FIBA for eligible European basketball clubs. Its is the European-wide fourth tier level. Clubs mainly qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions, although this is not the sole deciding factor, as sometimes clubs that did not win their league can still qualify.

The men's qualification for the Olympic basketball tournament occurred from 2014 to 2016; all five FIBA zones sent in teams.

The 2013 FIBA Europe SuperCup Women was the fourth edition of the FIBA Europe SuperCup Women. It was held on 29 October 2013 at the Palace of Sports "Uralochka" in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

BC Castors Braine

BC Castors Braine is a basketball club, with both men's and women's sections, based in the municipality of Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium. The women's team plays in the National First Division and won the title in 2014. The men's team plays in the provincial division.

The 2016 FIBA Europe SuperCup Women was the sixth edition of the FIBA Europe SuperCup Women. It was held on 20 October 2016 at the Palacium hall in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France.

Julie Allemand is a Belgian basketball player for Lyon ASVEL Féminin and the Belgian national team. In the 2016 WNBA draft, she was selected by the Indiana Fever in the third round.
