The Russian National Freestyle Wrestling Championships 2015 (World Team Trials) were held in Kaspiysk, Dagestan, Russia in the Ali Aliyev Center, from 8–10 May 2015. [1] The championships were attended by 6-7,000 spectators. [2]

At the Memorial Heydar Aliyev 2014 he beat in final Ehsan Lashgari. In 2016 he won European Championships. In 2020 Shamil announced his retirement

Akhmed Osmanovich Chakaev is a Russian freestyle wrestler of Chechen ethnicity. World freestyle wrestling bronze medalist. He is a silver medalist in the Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2009 in the Freestyle men's 60 kg event. He won the Ali Aliyev Memorial, winner of Russian nationals in 2009 and 2012 and the bronze medal in 2014. In Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2015 in round one 65 kg, he defeated American prospect Cadet World champion and Silver Junior World Championships Aaron Pico.

An accomplished athlete, Zhamalov is the reigning and two-time Russian National Champion, the 2019 U23 World and European champion, a two–time Ivan Yarygin Grand Prix medalist and was the Junior World Championship runner–up at 70 kg in 2018.
