The 2016 CONCACAF Futsal Championship qualification was a men's futsal competition which decided the participating teams of the 2016 CONCACAF Futsal Championship.
A total of eight teams qualified to play in the final tournament, where the berths were allocated to the three regional zones as follows: [1]
The top four teams of the final tournament qualified for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia. [2]
A total of 18 CONCACAF member national teams entered the tournament. Among them, two teams qualified automatically for the final tournament, and 16 teams entered the regional qualifying competitions.

In the North American Zone, Mexico qualified automatically as the highest-placed North American team from the 2012 CONCACAF Futsal Championship. The remaining two teams from NAFU, Canada and the United States, played in a two-match aggregate-goals play-off in Costa Rica on 4 and 5 May 2016, with the winner qualifying for the final tournament. In the Central American Zone, Costa Rica qualified automatically as hosts. The remaining six teams from UNCAF entered the qualifying competition, played in Guatemala between 27 and 31 January 2016. [5]
The draw for the qualifying tournament was held on 12 January 2016 in Guatemala City. Guatemala and Panama, which qualified for the 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup, were seeded into Groups A and B respectively. The other four teams were placed in two pots, with El Salvador and Honduras in Pot 1, and Belize and Nicaragua in Pot 2. [6]
The six teams were drawn into two groups of three teams. The group winners and runners-up advanced to the semi-finals, with the semi-final winners playing in the final and the losers playing in the third-place play-off. The top two teams qualified for the final tournament as the UNCAF representatives besides hosts Costa Rica, while the third-placed team advanced to the play-off against the third-placed team from the Caribbean Zone.

The eight teams were divided into two groups of four teams. The group winners played in the final and the runners-up played in the third-place play-off. The top two teams qualified for the final tournament as the CFU representatives, while the third-placed team advanced to the play-off against the third-placed team from the Central American Zone.

The Copa Centroamericana was a regional football competition for senior national teams from Central America. It was organized by the Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol (UNCAF), the regional body for the Central American zone under CONCACAF. The tournament was held from 1991 to 2017, every two years in the years before and after the FIFA World Cup, it was originally called Copa de Naciones UNCAF from 1991 to 2009, changing to the latter name in the 2011 edition.
The Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol, more commonly known by the acronym UNCAF, represents the national football teams of Central America: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its member associations are part of CONCACAF.
The Domo Polideportivo de la CDAG, known commonly as Domo de la Zona 13, or simply as Domo, is a multi-purpose arena in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Built to host the 2000 FIFA Futsal World Championship, it is located in the Zone 13 of the Guatemalan capital, in the location of the Guatemalan bullring, and has a capacity of 7,500 seats.

The 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship Qualification was a series of women's association football tournaments that determined the participants for the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship. Twenty-eight national teams entered the qualification for 6 spots, but three withdrew before playing any match. The qualification was organised by CONCACAF, the Central American Football Union (UNCAF), and the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). Because the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship also served as the CONCACAF qualifying tournament for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, the Championship qualification also served as the first World Cup qualifying stage. Martinique and Guadeloupe were not eligible for World Cup qualification, as they were only members of CONCACAF and not FIFA.

The 2021 CONCACAF Futsal Championship was the 7th edition of the CONCACAF Futsal Championship, the quadrennial international futsal championship organised by CONCACAF for the men's national teams of the North, Central American and Caribbean region. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in Guatemala City, Guatemala between 1–10 May 2020. However, on 19 March 2020, CONCACAF announced the decision to postpone the tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 11 February 2021, CONCACAF confirmed Guatemala as host and that the dates are going to be May 3–9, 2021.
